I KNEW something was up
Jason did mention adding guns eventually in the discord. Don't know if I can find the message though
I swear the East city was named something along the lines of 'San-Cal'. I was there earlier, great city!
I ran away from this pretty big town I was born into at about the age of 15. Some old woman wanted to play a game with dice, where the person who rolled a lower number got stabbed. I won, and reluctantly stabbed her. I realised how crappy the town was. There were three murders in my life, only one was killing a griefer, the rest were gambling bets. Plus the town was in a complete mess, everything was dying.
So I changed my mind and decided to just become a nomad. Who knows, I could find another town.
In the end, the only sign of civilisation was a dead Eve camp a short walk away. I grabbed three arrows, my knife and a carrot to continue my foodchain. Then I just left.
There were many bears around town from long gone griefer babies. I took them all out, but just left the skins I cut off lying there with the body. I could tell how far I was getting, just by seeing the reduced amount of human interaction. Fewer carrot seeds, no bears, and fewer animals reproducing. I must've walked a bit further than 1k away from town, considering I wasn't going in one direction the whole time. I did leave incomplete snowmen along my path of wildlife slaughter, as a sort of landmark.
The whole life was just exploring and shooting tons of animals. It was awesome, and I left skins and such on all the animals as evidence that I passed through. I think my motive was also to leave a mark across a wide area in hopes of people finding me or my town, or at least the remains. Let me know if anyone actually came across these snowmen, or dead turkeys next to Bison, or geese lying limp in their ponds.
Only things crowns are good for are showing off your wealth by decorating a monolith, or stirring up some juicy drama in a town that has nothing else to do.
The story was great though, and well written
Was in server 1, born into that town with the gorgeous architecture at the centre. It was where all the gore was at, a triplet decided to stab eachother to escape it. It caused a lot of drama, and I tried to ignore it and get on with shepherd stuff. With all my thread I gathered up, I decided to make a medical station in the centre, near the fire. By that time, I had become fertile, and decided to stick around the fire and become a nurse. I told all the mothers to bring their babies and some food to me, so they could get on with their own work. I remembered a lot of faces from then. The ones that stuck to mind were Nyx, Joey, Faron, Aron, and one more girl with red hair (I've forgotten
, but she apparently built the nursery over the course of two lives). My pads even came to good use when a bear struck the town. It was taken out with ease, and I managed to save everyone who came to me! Aside from one suicidal baby who wanted to waste our pads, *AHEM* ERIN STORM *AHEM*.
I grew too old just after raising the last baby, and found Prince Storm looking for a new heir (There was a monarchy going around, which I wanted to ignore) but I suggested a few of my little ones who I saw working really hard anyway. By talking and raising all these people, I got to see most of them all grown up, and they expressed their thanks to me as I was dying. It was a really wholesome life. I keep forgetting to get screenshots though...

Please reach out if you were one of the babies I raised, would be nice to know which players I took care of
That hurt to read. Especially the second one.
I don't like the whole thirst thing, makes living a lot more tedious (especially for new players who already have enough shit to deal with).
Everything else sounds cool though, I like the painkiller idea for some surgeries
Cars before wagons, baby slings and irrigation/water channels. ![]()

Karol, what were you doing? You saw the berry field! You saw how we had no water for about 15 years! Why did you waste milkweed on getting a horse, we needed a bucket more than anything!
All our wells were pumps and deep wells, and the town foolishly relied on one bucket. Some griefer was smart enough to steal that bucket and took it where no one would find it. Then it was a race against the famine. That's why I took the lasso from your horse and cut it into pieces so we wouldn't die an almost inevitable doom.
And then you shot me for it.
WHHYYYYYY?!?!
What if they just surrounded the entrance bush with the newcomen base stone? No-one could remove it.
Even more if you take into account shaved branches going in your bag
...but I do
Jasus, all hail our holy lord
Came back to add to this, there is never enough dyes! Cinnabar and Lapis are too rare for my painting projects, and yellow dye is kinda fucked up.
I tried to name that town. I died to some mosquitoes since I was so old. RIP Cambria sign project
It needs corn, a bucket, quicklime, separation (preferably, you get butter out of it), and of course cows. Plus all the time it takes to do that stuff; the forging, corn drying and calf-making etc. You might be right, but I was worried I might've gone overboard by asking for 4
Ok well I was Eve Solberg earlier and wanted to check out Southtown/Sonburg[?] (can't remember the name of the 'Rubber outpost'). I spawned in and wandered aimlessly wondering which way to go to find it, as I was in the wild. I really thought I wouldn't manage to find it, but by chance the bell rang after only a few minutes. It was only 1.1k away, but felt like such a loooong journey. Luckily I wasn't bit or stung, and made it. Tbh I thought I might surprise someone by arriving there.
Anyway, I followed the road south after being welcomed by a very hospitable frizzy-haired lass (I'm afraid I forgot her name) and wanted to invest time into learning/mastering milkpaint stuff. I was worried about how much time would go into finding limestone and dyes, but the collaboration in server 12 is so good, there was a whole area dedicated to grouping these non-renewable items. There was enough red dye to paint the hospital I was planning to decorate.

It was a painful process, with the hydration time limit, but there was a lovely blonde who agreed to do all the limestone forging for me. It did take me, I think, about 25 years to do it, but as you can see, I managed to paint the four corners of the soon-to-be hospital a lovely red ![]()
^^^
Because it's hard enough as it is to only get one use, after being succumbed to that kind of work and patience
...Mmmmmmyes maybe
Don't know if the code would support it, but would players be able to hold items whilst in the wagon? I mean, having archers in wagons would make for great chases
PEOPLE. COOKING. MY GOOSE. ON A FIRE
Im trying to make a file in this dying Eve town and some random steals my goose and burns it! I know it's a common newbie mistake, but I swear I could kill someone for that!
Yep, got to make all three parts thanks to this, thankyou again
In the first 40 years or so of my life, we cleaned up a city that had been slaughtered. It took time to get back to grips, with bones literally covering the farmland and forge. My mother died, Bear Dragon, and I wanted to finish a newcomen base I saw. I was completely new to this, and had to hurry as my time was running out.
First thing's first, the boiler had no pump in it. I had to get some rubber in order to finish it. It wasn't a long walk, but snakes did shorten my stay. I was rushing too much and completely forgot to get the sulphur. It took two firings, but I got the tire done, and therefore the boiler.
I fixed it onto the newcomen base, and went to find the rope that lingered in the sheep pen.
Great, now that's done, so now it's just the yew shaft and crude piston for the hammer!
Newcomen hammer was finished, and I also got some shafts ready for the interchangeable parts. It was a tedious walk from the pump to the hammer, but I got the water in the boiler with some charcoal, and fired up both the forge and hammer.
It was the first time I had used it, and it sounded and felt so awesome to use it. I knew I needed four wheels, but the hammer ran out of steam after the third. I was getting a bit panicky, seeing as my hair was already grey.

Last part was getting the rubber and the final wheel, as well as the actual drilling part of the bore. Fire up the forge and hammer one last time, and start smithing a blade as well as the final wheel. File the blade, fit on the wheel and try to put on the blade. I forgot to get the rubber, and I already forgot where I got the rubber last. Even worse, I was in my last shrivelled state, I only had five years left.
I loaded up the horse cart with a bucket and two bowls, for kernels and sulphur.

My goal was in sight. I came home, narrowly avoiding the snakes, and managed to get the rubber all done in one firing. As my song was ending, I finished the newcomen bore mechanism and rejoiced! My work was done.

So, I told everyone about how proud I was, and how now we could start thinking about kerosene. However, I should've expected that no one knew what the hell I had made. The update only came out a few hours ago. Still, great to experience this kind of stuff.
Mildred here, I was focused on getting rubber. Can you tell me wtf was going on? I was completely clueless
