Also, my condolences to Bunny. I once made two radios (there were two in Northtown and two in Southtown, we could communicate and I was so proud.) only to have them picked apart multiple times (I had to keep repairing them). Then finally I came back and all the parts had been stolen for them, I gave up. It was really pretty frustrating.

What if I could type the following in game:
/friend Anna Jones
And Anna did the same for me.
And what if instead of the description "no relation" when inspecting Anna, I could see "friend" and my children could see: "Mother's friend."
Further out in the tree: "Mother's friend's second cousin."Maybe Anna could now be treated as family by the game engine, so that she could curse me and I could curse her, but we couldn't use war swords on each other. Perhaps this setting could even be inherited by close family?
And since the family tree links to photos, could we also get a list of our friends?
And perhaps the same mechanism could be used to /marry someone?

Also here's one of mine
My marriage with her was interesting. The villagers were mad at me because she was 20 years younger than me. She ended up partially falling for my brother but he died, luckily for me. Then I was murdered for loving a young girl, which was reasonable enough. It was fun for the ~20 years I spent farming and chatting with her. We even wrote marriage papers.
