Made with a bent iron blade, then sharpened, put on a short staff. It replaces the role of branches in threshing, and sharp stones in cutting, in the event that a branch has gone missing. If it has many many uses, then it would be worth the resources spent making it.
Perhaps it could also do both jobs with one swing, ending up with threshed wheat on the ground after one use. I don't really know if that's how it worked in real life, but it would give it an efficient trait that makes it reliable.
Saying hi just after we died. I know Lucas doesn't have an account on the forums, but me, walrus and him went horse racing, knowing the server was doomed, so we wanted to end our lives after a bit of fun.
Say hi! Walrus, you were my mother in both of my best lives yet.
I think rope should still be a part of it
Two shafts + two more shafts + Lasso + needles = Pine wall
Perhaps the lasso could be changed to a rope
Aren't you being more rude? We should keep it cool here
I might start using that. Maybe some people will get it, and it could become a thing again
It's basically part of the game to say F when needing food, All babies do it. Everyone knows what it means and such, but can anyone do some research for me, like dig up old posts, and find out when it all actually became accepted? I mean it can't have been obvious at first what 'F' meant.
MultiLife you're so good at what you do, thank you so much!
OH MY GOD I HAVE MY OWN PORTRAIT
It was great to this post, from another perspective! I think Dante was the guy who fed me
As a girl (only black guy there xD)
Did I feed you a cactus fruit? I went exploring for the iron and came back after spotting some fruit. I ran back to grab them and fed the first person I could that needed it. You were only young with a small stomach, and were one of the only women left and so took priority. I'm glad I got to leave a mark with everyone there.
My heart is warmed seeing what happened to me after I died. And all the lovely things you're saying about me!
We joked about how I was the only black one because my mother had been cheating with someone else. It really sucked how I was killed by the boar, I was getting a skewer, I think, and I zoned out for a sudden. I was walking into the boar before I realised what a horrible mistake I made, haha
AAAAAGH I WAS DANTE! Jebediah, I was your blood brother! So glad to have played with you!
I think that family was doomed anyway, Superfun just finished the job. The population was mostly made up of men, and Superfun only managed to kill 2 people. Every other fertile woman had starved to death, or given birth to only boys.
So really the town was terminated by bad luck and he tried to take credit for it.

I was raised by Tyler, or the Egg Lord, as he and I call him. I was his egg fetcher and plate supplier as he fed the town both his food and his faith: The Egg Cult. I preached about the future of food for him, calling all to follow the path of the Egg Lord and listen to his wise words. My mother disliked this. She had stocked up on mushrooms one time to try and damage me, her own son, so I could not follow the one true faith. A rivalling religion, the stew cult, was led by Hugo. He had once been part of our group of disciples, but betrayed us and became a blaspheming heretic, spouting awful words of its superior capabilities. Luckily for our group, he was ignored. We had already converted the majority of the town, everyone was popping by the shrine to taste the appetising omelettes.
I had earned the Egg Lord's trust, that with his last few dying years, he announced that I was his true heir. I would inherit his title, his place of worship and the rule of the cult. Hugo was disappointed and upset, screaming "No!" over and over. It was what he deserved for his heresy, and he soon starved afterwards. I warned everyone that betrayed our cult would end up like him, starving in hell.
My mother had had enough. Being my mother, she had the power to imprison me in the naughty corner. I told her "I am the egg lord, mother", "Obey me". This only made her more and more furious. The sentence lasted longer and longer, before she said "I'm sorry son, I have to do this".
Whipping out her blade, I was struck in the chest.
"You hag! You have blasphemed! This is heresy! You will painfully starve in hell righteously, and will be cursed for many generations! ..And I? I will be reborn! As the Egg Lord!"
She glared at me as I fell to the ground, cursing her, before I had passed.
So that was my most interesting life I've had yet.
Craig was a newbie to the game. He wanted to help the civilisation by farming, so he watered the plants tilled some of the soil. He didn't know about some of the rules when it comes to farming, however, and made a mistake by tilling piles of three soil that were lying around.
Henry, presumably the lead farmer, was appalled and threatened Craig with death. I was only an adolescent, and was desperate to convince them otherwise. Henry was claiming how it was a pain in the ass to deal him with and fix his mistakes, and was very adamant about the execution. Maple and Henry were bouncing the idea back and forth before I suggested that I would take him under my wing and teach him the basics, as it was obvious he was just trying to learn, he wasn't doing anything consistently malicious like a griefer. Maple was pleased by the idea, she deemed it fair and easier on her part, not needing to worry about his shenanigans. Henry on the other hand was hanging by a thread, and said "He gets one more chance", "Then I'm killing him". Honestly, I thought that meant I'd get the stick too if I failed.
I managed to teach him all about soil spending and how to retrieve soil/compost (With a few inevitable mistakes along the way) and he quickly became accepted into the community. Everyone was asking how he was doing and if he'd learnt it well, though I did feel bad for us being on the edge of 'babying' him.
Shortly after, a few of us died by a pack of snakes (Not Craig, he got to die of old age), but my point is that newbies should deserve to learn like most of us did. Being killed for mistakes, -which is a part of learning- seems like a stupid idea to me. Killing a griefer is fine, but you should be able to distinguish a griefer from a new player most of the time.

Oh yeah, Vincent was a cunt from start to finish, Simon was panicking too much to stand still, the lady who took the needle just stood and watched while we looked for it and I was dying
Good work on getting rid of him. I don't get why people find it ok to do that. Sucks that only 2 people cursed him too.
My best friend, who helped me farm tons of milkweed, got stabbed by a child who was about to quit. Since they were leaving the game, they thought they'd get away with it, no backlash. I repetitively told the victim to come with me to the hospital, which we built made specifically to deal with this situation.
The first problem is the victim would not stop moving. If you are bleeding out and you only have 20 seconds, it's your fault if you die while someone is trying to save your life! DO NOT MOVE DURING THE OPERATION!
Second of all, some little shit had taken the needle that is REQUIRED TO TREAT A WOUND (It wasn't the murderer)! If there are plenty of needles with plenty of thread around, I think it's fine. If it's next to a bowl of sterile pads, that should imply it is for medical use. And if there is one, it should stay with the bowl incase this happens.
I don't know if the person who did this was a newbie, this isn't directed at the new players specifically. I'm pretty upset at the fact this happens more than I'd like it to.
Tl;DR
Don't move during surgery! It makes it way too hard for the healer.
Don't steal the needle and thread! Keeping the needle with the pads is a matter of life and death!
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=1009838 <- me. i starved after dueling toby for fun (your younger brother i think)
Poor Toby. He said his goodbyes to us and his brother, so I said "Oh, better luck next time".
I was born into a dying villa with brown bushes everywhere. The children were so similar, and split into separate tiles to make nursing them easier. It turns out there were two groups of twins who were born with me.
They and I grew up into this village to fight the famine and harvest as much food as possible. Unfortunately, the idea of having twins was scary to too many of us. A man named Tim took it upon himself to strike an arrow into one of the sisters' hearts. From my berry patch, I could hear her wail as she passed on.
I came to the scene to see rejoice. Tim was praised for his execution of the girl, and I thought nothing of it. The other twins were getting on edge.
Many years later, I haven't heard anything about the twins. Everyone was getting on normally, we had just grown a large patch of carrots to keep the compost and sheep going, and the berry patch was starting to look alive again. The forge was chugging along while some soup was stirring up just south west. That was until I heard yet another shriek. A young boy, among the twins, also had an arrow plunged into his chest, screaming "Murder!!" and "The man did it!". Everyone was so confused, the boy had been innocent and was helping as far as I knew. The mention of a man and the arrow wound suggested to me that it was Tim, the 'saviour'. He came limping, blood on his bow. I wanted to know why, of all people, Tim had shot the boy. He had nothing to say.
I was distraught and unsure of how to feel. He went to get some stew for his now empty stomach, when I called him out.
Excuses came spluttering out, "He was my twin", "He asked to die", "He thought it was funny". All of those had lies written all over them, and I said so as he crumpled to the floor. I now knew that it was all for sport rather than justice.
I told the rest of town and they were disgusted. One of them even dared to curse the bastard, inspiring others to take vengeance on him. They all chanted "Curse Tim", certain to twist his next life for the worse.
A long period of time had passed, and I was old enough to explore. I had never been beyond the village walls, and was curious. I found bits of garbage lying around; dirty pads, broken tools, empty bowls etc. I came across an oiled file sitting just behind a tree. I thought to myself "Oh this must belong to the forge", taking it in my hands to carry it back. Just before I left, a young ginger was running to that same tree with a blank blade in his hands. His appearance reminded me of Tim. Odin was his name
I had grown suspicious, assuming dark intents. A boy with a file and a blade hidden outside of town out of the residents' view.
I ran away with the file and blurted out in my panicked state about what just happened. Some of them listened, I had earnt their trust over the years. They agreed to keep an eye out, with the hands poised as if they would switch out their knives if needed.
But the boy had followed me.
From the berry bushes, Odin heard my accusation, and intended to object. His voice, it was dark and twisted. We all looked at eachother the same way, and our suspicions had hardened. Even worse, in his bag was a newly crafted knife. We agreed to stick together as there was strength in numbers, and we knew he was smart enough to stay away from crowds. He had left after that, and we hadn't seen him for a while.
I started to wonder if this was Tim's reincarnation. I pushed it aside, thinking it was stupid. That could be any cursed, but my friends insisted that it was a possibility. It became a large discussion as people were drawn in, only for an old woman to bring terrible news. A girl, Rose, had been attacked outside of town, and our suspicions had been confirmed. We sprinted to the scene to find Odin's own body cut up next to Rose's. Her attacker had been attacked in vengeance of Rose, and the village was finally safe from harm.

After that life, I had spawned as an Eve in a grassland location where I gave birth to my first child, Michael. He was my favourite child as he was one of those who accepts their beginnings rather than running away from them. Soon I would find out he would be my only human son too.
I gave birth to a lass who spoke with a dark voice like last time. I knew who it was: Odin. And she answered "Y". So I took her to a cold spot and watched her starve as I said to her "Fuck you".
She would be born to me and many other mothers repetitively only to be rejected and starve.

So i always try to tell my kids that it's ok to be not that productive before they are like 10, and to wait till they big enough.
I agree, and they can work on berry farming in the meantime. However I have seen two or more cases where a player presumes the child is 'idling' and kills them for not being productive or hard-working.
I was Win Wiza, daughter of the kind and loving Kate Giles. I don't know why I didn't take her surname, but I worked my life in a bakery, mostly working on pork tacoes. It was worth it, and great King Sixto Wiza observed my hard work. He possessed the crown and ruled generously, even executing my half-mad brother who was wielding a knife. Near the end of his life, he rewarded my work with the crown so I could rule after his death.
In praise of him, I buried him myself and recorded his reign on 3 notes, which are now resting in the library.
After I died, which was about 20 years later, I passed on the crown to Eve Kane, who must've found our large city. I didn't know if the rule was supposed to stay in the family line, so I do worry if I made the wrong choice.
Generation 2 and 3, we were explorers. I died long after I lost you four, can any of you tell me what happened?
Im talking about Mel, Voss, Exton and Nameless.
Was a good run, I hope Exton got my stuff after he found me last minute.
If you have locks, I think they should only ever be used to lock away weapons. And not even all the weapons, as over many generations the key will be lost easily, even the copies, and so the weapons will be locked away forever.
I spent half my life stocking a hospital and making sure it had everything we needed. Someone thought it would be better if we locked it up so griefers couldn't ruin the supplies. If you think about it, that does more harm than good. There is only one key (Unless it is copied) carried by a select few people. If the key is lost or in the hands of a mischief, it is more resource intensive to find the right key type or make another key than to just sterilise the pads again. You'd be doing the griefers a favour.
