I’m not personally offended by it, but I know a lot of people are. I don’t fall into any of the “segregated” categories but it’s still something that should be addressed rather than tolerated.
I agree that this is terrible. I wish things like this didn’t occur and ruin the experience, but unfortunately we can’t do anything about it. We just have to choose to ignore it until something can be done.
I get kidnapping kids. Sometimes, you need to. But in this situation it wasn’t necessary to leave them to die. I made my sister think I was kidnapping her child because she wanted it to die, but I was actually keeping the child alive.
What I was upset about was when we had room for kids, my sister killed them. When we didn’t, stuck in a famine, she kept ALL of them. And she turned the town against me based on rumors because I let one of her kids live when we needed her to.
Never been in the snare family.
Welcome back!
Or trying to make water pouches for bellows and transportation, and a kid who didn’t catch the rabbits or remotely have anything to do with it comes up and makes themselves a frickin shirt.
Hmm, maybe an enclosure with a fire inside. Warms the entire room to the heat of the fire? Or drops off as you inch away from the fire?
That would be a good idea. But we'd need some manner of defense besides advanced tools. Maybe a hatchet or even a stone pile (throwing rocks.)
@Glassius
I hope this gets fixed. A griefer built a wall around a chest containing values once using the pots.
I was having a lovely moment with my kid as I was dying at 60, a random dude came up in between us and started "calling" my backpack, clothing, and knife. I told him I wasn't a sack of loot for him to take, but he just kept being rude overall, similarly to my story on Missing Connections, just kept saying "I'm waiting" as I was dying. Unfortunately, he ended up taking my stuff because my daughter gave it to him.
So sweet that you protected her! I think your sister don't know the right time when to abandon the children ^^ i hope your niece could survive the famine.
Thank you.
I try to save all the children I can, but if it's for the greater good I know I have to leave them. Luckily, my niece was born at the right time, just to the wrong mother.
Oooooo people asking for clothes in a desert home when there is no milkweed farm is THE WORST.
Wait no, actually wearing those clothes, especially from material you gathered, in the desert home, while there is no milkweed farm, and then eating all the food of your labors because they ****ed up their temperature...is the worst., you're right.
Ugh, YES. And in the situation I spoke of, we had no milkweed. All of the clothes were made of fur, too, no sheep involved. Meaning it was a big waste of milkweed on a one year old lazy child.
I was Chara Cray, gen 3. My siblings had overpopulated the little town. They had a huge farm but everyone was so busy feeding the babies that they didn't work on food. My brother and I went and recolonized a section Northeast of the original camp. We made a second village and when I left that place, it was full of food and people. They were doing good in the north but really struggling in the south.

I know keeping all your kids when you're in a famine is bad. But there wasn't a famine when I kept her. It doesn't make me a killer. My sister was being a hypocrite by keeping all of HER kids when we were in the famine. I kept one of her kids when we were fine. I would have agreed that it was murder if we were in a dire situation, but we weren't. And the kid turned out really helpful.
Hypocrisy in this game kills me.

My dying mother took off all of her clothes and gave them to my baby once. Baby had just spawned, I had already given her my loincloth. It was the tradition for a kid to have either a backpack or one piece of clothing. I even told her to leave some for the other kids, and planned to snag some for me after giving all mine to my kids, but she just kept piling on the clothing. Had a fully-geared baby and naked adults, half-naked siblings. We were i the desert, too, and I told baby she'd overheat if she kept all her clothing. Baby went on to do nothing. That's what caused me to start this thread. Been experiencing this a lot lately.
Most of us didn't even have a backpack and the kid had a bag with THREE PIES and a knife in it. At least she didn't use the knife.
N/a
I just
Hate it when the rest of the hardworking town is naked, and one mother gives her baby everything. Like, we didn't get a luxurious crown, or a backpack with two pies in it, or any clothes at all. Yet one baby has everything it could need. The baby didn't even work for any of it. It just infuriates me. Usually, the spoiled kids turn out to be murderers from what I've seen, too.
What I hate the most is when, for example, I hunt rabbits, set up rabbit fur and a needle to make a backpack, run to get thread, and come back to some kid having made my hard work into a backpack for themselves. It's selfish. These mothers and kids should consider the other players. How do we feel about this? It should be equal IMO.
And sometimes, the kids are murdered just for having more stuff. So, spoiled mothers, by doing this, you're setting your kiddo up for a death sentence.
Thanks for listening to this short rant.
I was convinced I was the Eve because I often name myself Butt. But one of my kids from a former life as a Butt must have taken the name.
Everyone thought I was crazy when I insisted I was the Eve.
I shouldn’t be laughing at that
Agree that there should be a way to remove horse corpse
Maybe just disappear after a while.
Woah. That’s nuts. I was named Sunshine and was the “mother” of Sandra and a boy called Ben. I was actually a guy who adopted unwanted children.
Crazy that all of this happened! And that Sunshine was a reoccurring name...
Awesome! Excited to see all the new crops!
Any changes regarding worms?
I just find it annoying that basically, you don’t have free reign on a horse. You have specific “spots” where you have to park otherwise you will starve. I want to be able to get off a horse, have a snack, grab some of my stuff from the cart, and work without ha omg to worry and stress about it.
It’s understandable with wild horses or even horses not attached to a cart. But tamed, cart-attached horses shouldn’t do this IMO.
Or even just letting them move a tiny bit, not across an entire biome within a minute would be helpful.
I don’t think decay should be implanted on important starting items. Higher-tech stuff would be nice, keep the boredom away, but adding decay on stuff like kilns would kill the Eve population.
