this is a stone hoe thread, i am your host humboldt mcstonehoeface and i am here to tell you all about stone hoes. AMA
Q: where to store my sharp stones?
A: in baskets made out of thread
Q: oh man! can't find any stones to sharpen
A: take them from the guy making pies in the bakery, doesn't need them!
Q: i keep getting stabbed by roleplayers who want to RP with buckets!
A: make a property fence area
your fault for using skewers instead, nerd
The next logical step would be improvements to farming. Why are we still doing everything with clay bowls and hoes when we have much better tech at our fingertips?
Jason's real maker aesthetic
shut up ollj this isn't your thread its ours now
Just go in the arctic biome or swamp and wait for it to go away
adze + long shaft = long shaft with hole
long shaft with hole + stone = stoen hoe
jsaon please implement
Jason I understand that your face is boring, but because of your real life experience or idea, it is a feeling of dogma to make dogs worse and worse for other people who are legally concerned about turning you into the worst human being.
Please review the problem of this difficult problem and review common problems (with onions and tomatoes)
i've done the math and stone hoes are the best tool,
btw rope baskets are best for storing sharp stones to make stone hoes
this is now a stone hoe thread
HumboldtStoneHoe wrote:bad advice, always feed twins they're tasty when they're fattened
why raise twins when you can traise pigs or dogs?
twins give more jums
The next tech level is when a city has build a snake pit and a purbull pit, to sacrifice all the twin babies in.
I like how you're trying to get infamous for being the "TWIN DESTROYER 9000" so cool and interesting.
stone + hoe
Well excuse ME but we are having a civilized and european discussion fit only for gentlemen here, W0WMA.
Imagine every wall facing the wrong direction AND with uneven window spacing, jeezus
Sounds good to me but the problem of someone unevenly placing them really gives me the shakes
I didn't know that, how was the paper cover made? Was it one large paper appended to the window to cover it?
The difficulty says extremely hard. After reading the crafting procedure, I wouldn't call it extreme. But I look forward to trying it myself (yes, I haven't made glass so I'm probably wrong). A window is a nice-to-have, quality of life item. So I feel it shouldn't be too easy to make.
Perhaps there should be a glassless version that is easier to make but drops the temperature of your building slightly.
Yeah we could have a glassless version for the aesthetics, what do you think it should be like? It could be covered in wood or just a hole in the wall

And I'm not familiar with you, as I'm new to the forum, but I'm looking forward to your posts.
OP is a troll.
Hum is also a troll.
Trolls trolling trolls in a thread by a troll.
Go praise YaH and fist yourself instead of talking to me or about me, thank you.
Good adult conversation was had also look https://onetech.info/2581-Blowpipe-With-Cool-Glass-Bulb

Edit: Easy as in easy to come up with an idea, not as in "making glass is easy."
Why the flat stone for the hot blown glass thing? Why not a metal dish or mold?
Because those are items and processes that already exist in the game. Why make a metal mold just for glass windows? If we're going to complicate it, let's implement tin, melt it, drop hot glass on it and make float glass.
The first glass windows were not made by pouring. They were blown, then flattened.
Sounds good, let's add tin yeah.

Plus an adze for extra good luck? Imagine a town where every wall is a window
You already can't have two adjacent windows by my idea but not sure if that is implementable. I do agree windows must have some drawbacks but the glass making part of it is already a bit difficult.
Ok you know the multipoint locks on the glass panes to make them close? yeah we need something for that too: a bowl of gold flakes since they're yellow most of the time
As how i see the game, i see 4 stages
Eve camp for the first generations to settle
Iron setltement once iron tools are starting to be built and newcomen tower is done
Post-newcomen town Water pump is working, farms are built and the town is preparing for the transition to diesel engine
Post-dieselwaterpump for towns that already have infinity water and is actively working to survive the most.
Some people would add the radio or the plane to be some events that are worthy mentioning, but as i see them they are not really important for the development of a town and is mostly toys that were meant to be played with since after the diesel water pump there is not much to do besides farming or cooking pies.
Once these fix updates are over and jason starts thinking on new ideas for content, what do you think he could add that would be worthy to call "the next step" for a civilization?
Architecture and housing for everyone, yes

4 tied long shafts + a rope for it to be made, i agree to this
