I settled in this little area as Eve and raced through the tech tree to about steel. I come back 7 generations later and the family is flourishing! I feel like I did a good job as this was the first family to survive 3 gen. I usually dont like to bother with Eve runs as they tend to wear me out.

Any of you in the Walrond family? What are your stories?

Fire is important right? Without it we couldnt go farther than foraging. Cities will always need a fire going as it becomes more and more of a pain to re-start a fire.

My suggestion is simple for those who play in cities. A separate fire for separate activities. When your city gets as large as carts and buildings, you should have a separate fire for different areas of the city.

The main fire should be tended at all times to ensure that it does not go out, it is like the literal and figurative heart of the town.

Bakery and Kitchen have a fire. Forge and Kiln should have a fire. The center of the city is where the nannies raise babies. The Doctor should have their own fire as well.

We could make a religion out of this...

Make the active fire be away from the forge.

Why? So it can go out? Make your own fire to raise your spawn.

ugh I feel that. I hate when someone asks me to make a hoe or whatever AS im making it. It makes me want to craft another knife instead.

I feel like I've played with this person before, I had them as a baby and they said "Nig" to his relatives. He was still a helpless baby so I let him starve lol.

I was born to be a smith in this village, at least thats what my mom said. So I started doing my job, except.... two girls barged into forge and took over while i was mid work. The women all had babies around the forge area and kept the area cluttered with crap. I shot Madalin with a bow after she made another file instead of chisel only to be hunted down by Ruby.

I kept asking nicely for them to leave, then i told them to leave, they still wouldnt, even as no one was working on berries or helping with sheep pen. The forge is not a place for three people.

Also, to be fair, Madalin pulled a bow on me first and I was oh so patient with her even after she pulled a bow on me. Never have I been more angry at someone else in this game.

I was the man who killed whitney. I had other plans for this life and I wasnt prepared to be a hero. I had intentions of killing my mother but it seems that Amy had already killed her for me. I rejoiced in her death.

guess i wasn't meant to be a villain in this life.

i usually run if im a boy and i dont see any female babies in the camp, I want to make sure the resources go to her first before anyone else. I also usually run if there isnt a fire going or a warm desert.

You were a little bit older than I was when I asked you to marry me. Imagine my surprise when you said yes. I had our first child. You were so busy, so i stayed by the berry fields to raise our children. A few years of bliss passed me and then as I was holding our son Jason, a girl passed by us. Her name was Tulip. She was a pretty young girl and in her backpack was the rose that i had gifted you as well as the hide you proudly wore. I knew something was wrong and I asked her where the backpack came from.

She told me the story of a man's demise and told me where your bones were placed. I was so upset. I may have yelled at her. I was in complete denial and waited for your return. I had another child, A girl named Elda. I realized you werent coming back.

I sought out the location of your bones.

I took your bones to a nice spot north of town. The snow was falling then, it was so beautiful. It was a perfect spot.

I buried you there, and laid a pink rose on your grave.

My husband, I had two more who sadly died very young.
Rosa died to the same rattlesnake that claimed your life.
Voss passed after struggling to find food.

I was growing weaker and weaker, I realized that no one was left to fulfill my final request. As my vision began to blur, all I could think about was you. I made it to your grave and uttered my final words.

"Im coming my love."

Love,
Jan

Saw a guy getting multiple curses earlier and someone asking for others to help. I was smithing so couldn't stop to get the full story but he was def obnoxious and trying to mess with people. I was trying to ignore the situation till he stood in the way of the stuff I was forging, then started giving me shit when I asked him to move. Came back later with a bow and started calling me a pussy.. Ok pal what ever (I'm still trying to make needed tools for the town) I finished what I was doing then took stuff just up north and made a knife, came back down and carried on working. STILL he's giving people shit so after a while I had enough and stabbed him in front of everyone...
Poppy just so you know kid, no one cursed me after for it, no one complained, I only got praise for ending your annoying little existence.

OMG it's you! You were my hero! I finished the pen for you and the family is still living on!

I am Horace, I made the stew. I made around 9 or so crocks full in my lifetime as well as tacos and some wheat tortillas.

I witnessed my crazy older brother murder a woman and then he himself was murdered.

I learned something during my short life there. You can remove the arrow from a murder victim before they die and lose the arrowhead. It sucks when you need the arrow for other things but it helps when you are preventing another murder by bow as the person has to craft another arrowhead. Any thoughts?

Ive been having a hard time spawning into a town lately. Are towns dying out faster than they have before or is no one really playing today?

Spent two lifetimes there trying to tell people to let some die, no one listened. The Sol family is doomed.

i lived to 60 in a village. some guy had a basket with two berries and forge hammer outside of town. Was he griefing? He was clearly afk so I tried to stab him and couldnt? Can you not stab people that are holding baskets? Are people holding baskets immune to being stabbed?

yea, i was born to a village with too many berry bushes. I decided that the town was doomed and i dedicated my life to making tortillas and making a sign. Was a funny life, lots of laughs.

Mama,

I tried very hard to mark your grave. I planted you a rose bush and made a chisel, knife, and letter M for your grave. But I died before I could make the adze because I was forced to log offline. I asked a young man to finish the work I had started. I buried you next to a pine tree above the berry farm you had started, which grew as I got older.

I didn’t kill the snake because I didn’t want to hurt anything. I only used the knife for making the letter I for your grave. Sorry about that. The young man who helped me knows where I kept it for future or emergency use.

I wish you were reborn there. But you weren’t. The rest of the people went on and ignored your grave. I told them they should visit it and help me complete it, but they didn’t help me. They loved you too though. We missed you after your death.

I’m sorry I wasn’t more help. I loved you and missed you so much after you died. You were he best Mama ever.

Finlay

Finlay, im so glad to hear from you again! You were a very good kid. You dont need to worry about marking my grave, just the though of all of you there and happy was enough to make me proud of you all. I am honored just by your actions. Hopefully we will see each other again my dear.

I watched this village grow from a population of 2 to almost 20.

To my loved ones,

I was so proud of all of my children for what they did to get this village back alive.

To my mother,

Thank you for raising me. I hope I made you proud! You have great grandchildren and great great grandchildren out there! The village has plenty of food and we have a forge going!

To my dearest Finlay,

I love you so much son. I hope you live on after my death, no matter how hard it is without me. You were a soft spoken and gentle child in your youth.

Always know that I loved you all.
