I think it'd be an interesting way of making towns a bit harder without changing too much or adding content.
Like disease could worsen in highly populated areas or long lineages. Plague hits the Belltown, killing off a large number of people with only these who got the treatment or weren't near town surviving the outbreak.
It's not some epic story of my rise to power, ending with all my followers weeping as I died of old age. I inherited a bunch of followers from my mother, most of whom didn't even know they were following anyone. Mum's reign mostly consisted of her ordering followers to bring her more wine.
I myself tried to be more of a constructive ruler, Ordering people to do certain jobs or make certain resources. Though my orders were more suggestions, I wasn't entirely sure if anybody listened. It did seem a few of my followers did some tasks which may or may not have been because of my orders, I ended up completing a lot of the orders myself. I exiled one person for killing too many sheep, Interfering with clothes production and overfilling the current stores. Apart from that, I didn't try to kill them or anything. For better or worse my reign was an uneventful one.
I had one daughter who I taught to farm and ended up naming a granddaughter a successor. My advice would be to use ordering as a general suggestion but personally asking followers seems to have a better effect. Kinda gotta micromanage a little if followers aren't doing things effectively or don't know how to do it. I felt fairly disconnected from my followers and they mostly saw me as an occasional message on their screen. Kind of like some god games where you may have some control over the general direction of the people but the people mostly do their own thing. Not saying it's a bad thing, Obviously, it minimizes the impact of a bad or incompetent ruler.

I'm not active anymore, no.
I took a few breaks on and off then I just stopped a whileee ago, not because I was demotivated, (like that would happen) but because I lost interest in this game.
I am part of the discord still but not for any game related reasons no.
The game is dying, or is already dead at this point, but I have no more interest in a game with a crappy developer. Simply put, I had a good run and then I stopped.
But trust me if I was still playing, there would be hell to pay. I have a many stories to tell, for another time of course, but I did get my worth out of the game and had a hell of a ton of fun doing it
Until next time,

Well, thanks for responding even if you aren't playing.
I want new characters and new clothes colors. Would only be a week’s update, could be between the fixes and would hold us for a while and stop the complaining. Then again we shouldn’t complain anyway. Jason is doing us a favor. He doesn’t owe us anything.

If you want a content, can you suggest anything?
I have have done so plenty before. But at this point, I've been asking for long that I don't give a fuck anymore.
You ad noting here...
You lack imagination
Go play a game that spoonfeeds you a storry
This thread still adds more content to the forums then Jason has to the game.
A cyclical apocalypse, A restart is inevitable but can be delayed for a time but NOT forever. I think non-extremists can agree that big cities tend to overstay their welcome and aren't enjoyable long term. Yeah, we've all lived in a Zucc Town, Hub Town at LEAST once. Cool, You've built a successful town, Enjoy it for a while and move on. I'm bored and I don't give a fuck why Tom stabbed Bella because she stabbed Dave.
So the idea is to have a forced restart happen every few days at most. Perhaps flip the apocalypse on its head and turn it into the way of pushing back the restart. Nothing that can be repeated eventually, Eventually losing is what makes people care to begin with. I feel like 2 days is plenty of time to build a big city and enjoy the finished product, Probably even 1 day would work.
People can bitch about how "If nothing lasts, It's meaningless" well look how meaningful things get when it does last.
I feel like the Arc was actually fairly similar to now tbh. People got "sick of the same towns" so they tried to kill off everyone.
Though I did like the fact that in the arc you would eventually lose, either way, Fit the "nothing lasts forever" theme a bit more. I think their needs to be a fine balance between civilization lasting long enough for people to enjoy it but not overstaying it's welcome and becoming a murder hub.
I do like the Job Title idea. It might be good if the leader could assign but you could change it yourself later, Be a good way of giving people an idea of what to do during childhood.
I think the way to go with Hierarchy is more communication for the townsfolk, Knowing who is officially doing what and the general goings-on in town.
I also like the idea of a hierarchy tree similar to the family tree, Showing the various leaders and lower lords parallel to the family. The starting leader gets to name the Hierarchy similar to an Eve starting a family, This goes on for as long as followers enter that system but unlike families, anybody can start a new tree, not just Eves.

Griefers:
Trust each other.
Communicate easily (esp. with Discord, etc.).
Organized team.
Leadership.= Easy to make a posse
+ Usually Bows (Ranged Weapon)
+ Medic on Standby
+ On horsebackNon-griefers:
Language Barrier.
Don't know each other beforehand, don't know if they can trust that you're telling the truth. (He said, she said.)
Takes time to explain and convince people that there are griefers, what they did, etc.
Could be newbie, don't know about posse and how to join them.
Bystander effect.= Hard to make a posse
+ Usually knives
+ Floundering for the pads, sterilized knife, thread
+ On foot
I agree.
In the next update, You will NEED a posse to kill somebody in a populated area.
Yes, but it didn't end well. People did not believe me and ended up with curses myself. It's understandable really because any griefer could kill and claim they had black text.
What if getting enough personal curses eventually leads to having black text for everyone. Think it should be a pretty large number like 20 or higher, The ultimate punishment for notorious griefers. Also what if every person got a specific curse name instead of random. Elder Note: "Be wary of Spicy Cock Muffin. Posse killer, and door blocker".
Doesn't matter there will be so many tags that hers will go unnoticed anyway
And now that slightly more Eve's are spawning there should be more families, so less chances of being in donkey town in case you get mass cursed by mistake in one life.

Two years ago OHOL was not a toxic game.
You mean when people where getting insta murdered and black screen with no chance of healing?
Sure
Rude behavior is part of every online game (ever) some more than others depending on the type of game, but it's not a constant part of it.
Honestly, I'd rather insta murder. Just be less drama with killing and no more bs safety nets. You become a glass canon, combined with the modern systems law can still be enforced.
Since we have personal curses for bad people, we should have it for good people as well. Angelic Blue text for known allies.
You shouldn't have introduced her to this toxic game.
Thanks now I know where to go to find out your plans.
You mean this guy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdp4UA … W0w/videos
I've talked to them and killed them several times, I have them cursed so I can easily hunt them and known followers. They basically just abuse mechanics like you said, Target the healers first curse them and kill on sight.
Don't be alarmed by their vids, It looks like they are killing whole towns but they aren't doing shit. "We killed Zucc-Town" Was born to it literally next life. Just let them soak up curses.

If someone heals a griefer, kill them. Easy as that.
Easier said than done, The more people you kill the more chance you'll be killed also.
I'm not a griefer you moron I'm playing devil's advocate.
If anything you're the griefer spending every life as a fertile female alone in the wilderness building roads and letting all your babies starve in the name of autism.
Usually, people don't play devils advocate unless they have something to gain from it.
Yeah, Most anti-griefing methods are ironically also used for griefing. Healing, Killing, Posse, Fences and now cursing.
Griefers have no reason to keep babies anyway unless it is one of their own.
