So what if I kill 1 village but make 4 there’s a difference. So plz go and learn how to play the game then teach me. I don’t just grief villages everyday, when you know how to do everything in the game sometimes it’s to boring to not grief.

I don’t think it’s true. I mean... if you save four people, you can’t kill one person. You can donate to charity, but you can’t steal someone because of that. It doesn’t work like that. I know it’s a game, but still doesn’t make sense since that game tries to simulate the real life.

So... no. If you build four houses, you can’t destroy somebody else’s house. Neither villages.

And I would like to see a print of your thrieving lineages, because I want to see if I am one of your descendents.

And... Even if you built a great village, you’re not special. When you build a good village and long lineage, you’re simply stealing babies from Eve camps and other towns. So if you don’t build a town, somebody else will do, because they’ll have more babies, and a lot of towns die because they ran out of girls.

I’m not judging you, it’s just my point of view.

At least you gave a plenty of babies to other towns and Eve camps. I mean... there is a good side.

how can you consider killing a griefer punishment? If they were going to suicide anyways what is the difference, that you stabbed them? that makes no sense.

basically jason wanted to give mothers a way to not lose their cooldown which means disabling the way the mod killed you, so that you have to use /die as a baby, which means they should have time to pick you up. Not sure if closing the game will kill you or not.

spoon isn't contradicting themselves, this removes more options from the game

If the griefer insta dies, they can reborn on the same village after dying.
If the griefer is murdered, they got lineage ban. It is a punishment, at least the griefer can’t continue killing everyone.
And when a griefer kills and insta dies, they receive a lot less curses or no curse, while if they be alive for some minutes, people can see them using a bloody knife and curse to sent them directly to donkey town.
People killing and insta dying was happening too often, last week my cousin filled his backpack with snowballs and murdered a kid girl because she ate a piece of pie, he insta died and I was afraid to curse the girl instead the guy, because I couldn’t differ the bodies.

I think suicide should be an option.

But is, lol, you can throw yourself on a wolf, mosquito, snake, stop eating, going to a snow/desert biome.
Just kidding. I think you should put a rope on a tree and suicide at least. Or use a knife on ourselves.

I can tell you.
Griefers.
I have seen a lot of people killing and instantly dying, so it’s diffcukt to see who killed to curse. Finally, it’s gone, people won’t kill and instant die anymore when they feel bored.

When my WiFi is slow, I activate 4g on my cellphone and create a personal hotspot. So I can connect via pc and use my iPhone internet on PC.
4g is pretty fast and affordable (here in my country 1 dollar, 1gb), with 1gb of 4g, you can play for a week (at least here in Brazil I have to spend my 1gb in one week or it expires) without being disconnected, if 4g is good in your country/city.

LOL last week I played as nomad trying to rebuild ruins. I went through a lot of deserts and didn’t see any lasso, I will pay more attention next time.

#33 Re: Main Forum » Education of the baby. "Child tours" » 2019-02-22 00:02:16

It is a lineage saver.
I do that in small villages too. I show the kids the bananas spot, rabbits spot, soil/water and suggest some jobs, so my kids starved less often and can work faster since they know where things are.

I would like to write more easily on this game. Books and scrolls should be a good way to teach future generations. At least being able to create pencil with sharp stones or flint chips and coal. Knives are too dangerous, librarians shouldn’t use knives. Because of that we don’t see books and cards frequently.

I'd like a meta control for this, like you get 3 /dies per hour of gameplay, or something.

I disagree. In my opinion, people should be free to choose where they will live. For instance, I am bored with playing on big towns. So last week I always /die when I born on a big town, I am just playing as an Eve or on a small village. I like it, I am bored with a type of gaming, but I can choose another, and it is cool. If I had only 3 /die probably I won’t play the game for some weeks, because I’ve played a lot on big towns and I’m tired.

And I do agree with being able to /die without being hold by anyone. Because, a lot of times, my mother is hunting or doing something in the wild and lets me to die (or doesn’t see me).

I really don’t have problems with suicidal babies anymore, since it's affecting my baby cooldown. When some baby /die, I have another one some seconds later. And it is brilliant, they will only play with me if they want to, so they can do a good work. If they are forced to play with me, the game won’t be fun and people will stop playing.

#35 Re: Main Forum » Snow ball muderer » 2019-02-21 19:53:16

Yes, but in real life people can be murdered by a long straight shaft or any other tools, while in the game we can be murdered only by snowballs, knife and bow&arrow, so I think it`s balanced.
Also it helps A LOT to kill griefers on eve villages. Basically if someone griefe an Eve village, the village dies. So it is nice to have snowballs to protect ourselves. Snowballs save a entire village, while a murder can kill just one person if no one is near enough to feed them and the it lowers the murder temp a lot, so they will die if they aren`t near of some food resource.
I`ve never had big problems because of snowballs, whenever someone kill without a reason (Using bow, snowball or knife), people kill that person and curse as well. And if you throw a snowball on a griefer, they will drop their weapon and it is nice if a griefer steals the only knife or the only snowball.

#36 Re: Main Forum » Love the variety of characters esp thank you for having very dark skin » 2019-02-21 19:39:43

I love to play as a redhead or very dark character, they are rare than others and are the prettiests as well. And I always receive a lot of loot as a child when I am a redhead boy because his neutral expression is so cute that mothers try to steal me.

#37 Re: Main Forum » A new player's perspective... I want to find ruins like in the videos. » 2019-02-20 18:16:32

It explains a lot @Peremptive, thank you. So it is basically an alien time machine with 4 buttons, you can press just one, but you don’t know where it leads.
But at least we have one more tip, if we find the body an Eve (I’ve find one body without any signals of camp), we know we aren’t out of the spiral. So we don’t need to change the direction.
Another useful informations is:
- If we go NW, NE, SW, SE we have more chances of finding sething while going N, S, W, E we have 2/4 of getting out of the spiral.
- if we reached 30 years old and didn’t find any signal of life, when we reborn as an Eve, if we go to the opposite side, our chances of finding a mega town is hugely increased (depends on the size of the spiral, but my guess is that it is big enough to don’t change the direction within one hour.

Now I have my degree of OHOL archeology and I’m ready to find ruins.

Can someone share the link of the explanation of that spiral? I would like to extract more informations. Thank you all.

P.S: TY @happynova, I didn’t know about that, wrote down.

#38 Re: Main Forum » A new player's perspective... I want to find ruins like in the videos. » 2019-02-20 17:10:49

I really understand you.
As you said, we can have a lot of different experiences playing this game and rebuild a city from ruins is one of those.
Sometimes I want to find ruins too, because people keep working even without fertile girls, hoping someone else in the future to find it.

I have a method, I can find a ruin in about thirty minutes.
Download the zoom-out mod, put a YouTube video on my second monitor, spawn as an Eve, make a basket, put food and a sharp stone, zoom-out the max possible and run to one direction looking for life signals.

Signals:
- Desert cactus with flower or fruit (it only generates fruit/flower if someone was near).
- Banana trees without bananas. (It does not regenerates and all banana trees have bananas), if there are a lot of banana trees without bananas, it is guaranteed to find a ruin or a running village
- Berry bushes with missing berries. The less berries the more recently someone was there.
- Tules on swamp, sharpstones and any other object made by humans.

The easiest way is looking on deserts. But always bring food and a sharpstone (to eat wild carrots).

The sad thing is that I lose some children on the way, and when we starve children we are marked as “bad mom” what decreases our chances to have more babies. So if you are older than thirty, die and start again.

I started doing that some days ago and have found:

- The first time, I was a man on a village with only men and a old Eve. I ran northeast, found a dead Eve camp very near (about 3 minutes running), there were old clothes and lot of food, I kept going and found a big town with people in about seven minutes running.
- Eve little bit older than me on a Eve camp, I had 3 boys and 1 girl by the girl died as my family tree. (I went east).
- A dead Eve camp with berries farm, tools and old baskets. I was a little bit old and had four boys, no girls, but we did great, a big carrot farm, increased the berry farm, there was a lot of soil and water near, iron as well, but they gave up when I got old. If had one girl, the village would be successfully revitalized. But we died as the last family and no one will know the history if they find the camp. (I went southwest).

I would like to know how the spawn system works. I found older villages, southwest, northeast and east. Someone told me it works on spiral, but I don’t think so after finding older villages on opposite directions.

#39 Re: Main Forum » A solution to overcrowded villages. » 2019-02-20 01:57:14

You will literally starve haha.
After this new update, more houses started to be built to keep people warm. Yesterday, I was in a village where the mothers just dropped children on the house and some babysitters was feeding them, there was a bakery inse the house with a lot of pies, this update reduced children death in big cities, because instead of starving your kid to continue the work, the mothers just put the children in a house.
So... the kids were getting older and started to eat berries, after some minutes the berries ran out and the children came back to the house to eat pies, a grabbed one pie and put index my bag because I knew what was happening. The pies run out as well, all the food run out without time enough for farm regrowing, a lot of people starving, running to all directions devouring all the near wild berries going far and faraway until only left me and one girl cousin, the others died, get lost or was surviving on the wild until the food regrowing.

A leader would makes things better, but it is difficult to implement. And if you kill children, some of them reborn and griefe the village.

That mass starving will happen quite often because of the new update. If you are warm, well fed and on a high yum bonus, your chances of having a baby increases. So the chance of that babysitters on the fire is much higher than the chance of a woman from a small village.

#40 Re: Main Forum » Killing as Eve » 2019-02-20 01:36:38

I saw a similar situation today.
My mother killed the same daughter four times, she starved and after some time reborned there again, we know it was her because she always put a sad emoction and my mother asked “Are u sadkid?” And the kid confirmed. After sometime she reborned as my niece, the village was thriving, so she decided to keep the sad kid alive, my mother even named her as “happy”. But she wanted revenge, after being able to pick stuff, she took a basket, put three snow balls, killed my mother and starved.

I understand who sacrifices children, but I also understand who come back for revenge. I mean, you murdered his brother (for a good reason, but murdered) and if the angry kid feels upset he will try to revenge killing or griefing. You teach him that the best way to resolve problem is murdering.

It is an option and I don’t judge you, but after some revenges of sacrificed children, I stopped to murder them. I explain the situation to the children and ask them to try on another village, but if they really want to stay, I ask them to bring bananas, most of them are killed by mosquitoes and the village receives a lot of bananas until we get some berries.

Sacrificing children (principally if you are rude) is a dangerous way to keep things going, because they don’t get lineage ban, so they can come back after some minutes or even after some hours and revenge. And the worst thing is a reborned revenger, because we don’t know if we killed them or their siblings, so they can pretend to being helpful and start to hide tools, eat a lot of food, break pens, kill all the sheeps, kill people and hide weapons to come back and kill more.

Sorry for my English haha, but ask them to bring bananas. They will be motivated because you decided to feed them even without enough food.
