Hmm .. you are a troll, your mother's choice was right. You deserve to die.

I haven't done it, It was a joke referencing your other thread.

Your a hypocrite anyway.

It's only because one of his many excuses for killing was "they got given everything from birth".

I was born in an okay town but there was a griefer killing people. He complained about everyone being carrot sponges and noobs but he eventually got shot.

I made a few pots of stew and the we got the town going. I had several daughters and sons who all did quite well. One of my sons even made the stuff for sauerkraut. My daughters lived to make grandkids and there daughters made great grandkids.

Sadly it looks like my kids died prematurely but they still lived fairly long. It looks like they ran out of fertile women in the end.

Thanks to Lucy and Bob for trying to continue the family line. Thanks Ted, Tod and Edda for all your hard work.

Thanks to my great grandson Thanos. Seems like you were the last one alive.

Oh nonsense being a gen 2 boy isn't so bad, Not like you get abandoned 9/10 times and when you do survive all your sisters and daughters die.

I just had a life where all my family died. I was basically male Eve, Mother did help but she was busy with kids. My brothers and sisters didn't last long and Mum starved soon after menopause. I saw her tell her ladt daughter not to die.

But she died at 14 anyway, Then I became a lone hermit. I lived off beans and berries and still lived to 60.

Little kids are very likely to die, so in situations where there are few children, they are the priority(especially the females that are needed otherwise the town dies). I wouldn't give a crown to a kid though, that should go to people who are working hard. Well unless, there is no one else around.

I like it to be job based,  At least for backpacks anyway. Like if you hang around inside the town then you probably don't need a BP since you can just grab food when you need it or just have some laying around your work area.

But Backpacks are way more useful when your out gathering supplies or hunting. You can pack food and bring more stuff back.

The town seemed promising at first, I was born on a decent sized farm with a few different crops. I heard people working in the forge a few screens away so we had some productive people.

We didn't have sheep yet but we had the right tools made already. My plan was to work on the farm until I was adult then I would work on sheep.

But my mother suddenly died while I was in her arms, I grew hair and took what she had. I didn't know it yet but she was the only fertile women. So I carried on with my farming until I was older. It was then I noticed the lack of children, Usually I'd expect to hear crying babies and confused toddlers asking for jobs or leeching. But not a single child was in sight.

Only my two uncles,  one of them wearing a skirt trying to be a women. We considered a mass suicide but I thought dying of old age might make an eve spawn.

One of  my uncles made a bunch of pies and suicided. My second uncle wanted to enjoy a cooked goose before he died. He cooked it and we ate it together.

I was going to show him how to cook the stew but he died of old age. As the last man alive I buried my two uncles in fancy graves, Luckily the letter  U isn't hard to make. I also cooked a stew and left two bowls for my dead uncles.

If you spawn in a camp with two graves marked Uncle with stew by them then that was my camp. I left a bunch of seeds and soil so it shouldn't be hard to restart the farm.

Just a side note but is it just me or do more males live to old age then females. So many mothers that die at 20-30 while alot of males live to 40-50+. There are exceptions but it just seems like this to me.

I remember being an old women awhile back. I had full gear and I was planning to give it my son. He had been working since he first grew hair abd I figured he deserved my stuff. I had a daughter who didn't do much but produce endless grandkids who never lasted more then 5 minutes.

Well unfortunately my son was out of town when I was dying. My daughter was chasing me around with her baby when I died so I assume they got the gear sadly.

So it's all pretty high tech besides the beans, Seems like we should just stick with the old crops early on and later move on to cabbage and potatoes.

I've been in a few small towns sonce the update, people are experiming with all new stuff and starving to death.

I know that potatoes are bad early on because you need the shovel. But are they good in bigger towns?

Beans feel like a hybrid of corn and carrots, They seed like carrots but you eat them like popcorn. It's easier then popcorn but a single corn would produce more popcorn. But I think the beans grow faster then corn.

I have no clue about cabbage yet but it can't be eaten raw.

Stew seems good I made a pot in one of my lives. It might be a good incentive not to just monocrop since you can combine different crops for one big pot of stew. But once your done it won't let me use the empty pot again, It's just stuck laying there. Is it a bug or some kind of cool down?

Yeah, I also wish we had more towns interacting with eachother.  But Different towns are usually lifetimes apart from eachother. You can have bloodlines split into two camps but even then interactions are usually rare.

I'm interested as to what the game will be like with advanced tech. Cars would allow us to go way further and carry multiple people, Maybe we'd even get temperature control for them. Plus cars don't run away from there owners.

I'll probably offend someone but I think it's a good idea. Like no offense but the sea of graves is kind of ugly and at least the grave sheep pen has a use.

Would be nice if we had a way to dispose of the dead faster. Like the average person would just be disintegrated Upton death but valuable members of social would have the honor of being.buried.

Yeah the village wasn't that good tbh. I've seen Eves that made steel tools in there lifetimes although that was before iron was so rare. Still, 5 gens and  no tools is quite poor.

They died soon after my death,  kind of sad that 2 people did more in their lifetimes then that village did in 5 gens.

I was born into a mid sized town. It didn't look so good at first. Adults were saying things like "too many babies" and I noticed they had no tools.

We were 5 gens in and theh had only just crafted the hammer. So when I grew hair I started working in the forge, First I accidentally forged a pickaxe and then the shovel I intended to make.

I dug a well  and that solved the water shortage for awhile. The children immediately started watering the berries and the famine was averted.

I was in the process of making more steel when you told me you wanted to learn how to forge. You were a good help gathering various materials for me. I'm not the greatest teacher in the game but it seemed like you learned from watching.

We worked together to make most of the tools. People got suspicious of you when I tried to send you out to get me a goose but luckily no one died.

Another lady also occasionally helped me hammer wrought irons but I don't remember her name.

There was one village idiot who caused some trouble. He cut down our Jupiter tree and turned our fire bow into a flint tapped one just as the fire went out. You wanted to kill him but I had left the bow next to ponds, I was too old to make it in time.

In the end we both died of old age.

I'd like the option to adopt other peoples babies, Males.should be able to do it too.

Because some people like to save abandoned babies but they are usually stuck as nameless.

This way we could prevent careless mothers from ruining family names.

I shot a kid because I saw them trying to craft a knife. They claimed to be making sheers but to my knowledge we had no sheep.

I apologize if I was wrong but I've made mistakes with suspicious kids in the past. I've let them be and they go on to murder most of the town.

I openly told the town that I killed her and why, I dropped my bow and walked off. I went to dispose of the stuff and some women stabs me with a knife and says "I knew it was you". Nice job detective, I already openly admitted to it. Case fucking closed.

Oh and to add insult to injury. You were my own daughter, wtf. I raised your ass and you stab me.

Sorry but I spent my whole life in that village, I was an old woman. But no, They believe a young kid over me. If I wanted to grief I would have done it 30 earlier.

I'm sure you had good intentions, best of luck to you and the town. Maybe you can kill a real griefer in your lifetime.

It's the big towns man, They are always griefer central. The game has been more forgiving this week and more cities have popped up then normal.

With them huge berry fields you really don't need to worry about famine, I could pump out more babies. But griefers also thrive in places like that, I think they get more of a kick destroying large towns over Eve camps.

Yeah, I figured I was going to hit menopause soon. I found that telling babies things like that motivates them to do well, It did for her at least. It was interesting seeing it from her perspective, I even got a glimpse at the milkweed farm my grandkids where making.
I just wish my daughter had listened to my advice about bringing food with you when you go out

I just finished living my life, I made to 60. It was hardtimes and I lost all my siblings to starvation or wolves. I had to let many of my own kids die but I was able to a farm going.

I was growing mostly berries but also some corn, The berries take awhile to get going but they paid off. I was able to produce enough food to support a daughter and several grandkids. I hope they do well.

Sorry if I let any of you die as babies.

My life had rather hectic start, I was born to my wounded mother. She had been stabbed around the same time I was.born, The killer was still on scene with his bloody knife.

I fully expected to die but another women carried me away. I was now with a group of babies and mothers but then the killer came and stabbed the baby boy next to me!!!. That was a close call, It could have been me. I was once again carried to "safety".

The murderer was at large for the entire time I was growing up, I heard screaming and saw dead bodies everywhere.

As soon as I became a toddler I got a basket of got the fuck out of town. For years I hid in the wilderness, I found a warm spot near berry bushes and trees to hid behind.

When I was a teenager I heard someone coming, I thought it was the murderer so I hid in a tree. But it was just a women, she told me she was making a bow to kill him. So the killer was still around, So i camped in the wilderness for longer.

I became a grown women and had my first babies, I raised them in my spot. When my first son was old enough I ventured back into town.

My son carried the basket and I carried a baby daughter. Apparently the town was safe and had alot of people, Even unrelated people. Perhaps I could have returned sooner.....

But I still saw a murder grave, I warned my kids to be careful. Luckily the murders finally stopped and I could live in peace.

I had several beautiful daughters who grew up to produce many grandchildren. Sadly I was forever nameless due to my mother being murdered.

I lived to 58 before being killed by a bear that came into town. I call bs on that because it was no where near me but the town was very laggy so....
