A cold region isn't impossible, if it you got the right stuff there. Some times you get weird overlapping spawns. Like once I was in a cold region that had like 8 ponds in it(actual ponds, not ice holes). The one in the picture doesn't have any redeeming traits however.
Agree. A cold region is not imppossible. But when you play with newbie, do not chose cold spot and see them die. And in this game, I just move about 30 squares to East.

I meet a boy in my new village. (I am gen 2). There are 3 people in village: Eve, me, boy. So i tell him: "Can U hunt rabbit. I and mom can smith". He did say anything and still stay near forge. Maybe he want smith because he learned and felt he usefull. Actually NO. He waste food, waste time. I go to make arrow very quick and give it to him. His last word: "Fuck u mate. I make this city."
Do you know what Eve say? She say: "LOL. I make this city?"
Mom and I keep working. And he is a dead man who no one care.
I advise you that you should tell the true when your mom ask you: "Are you new?"
If town is good, she will teach you. If not, just find a new town or begin as an Eve.

I like the Curse mechanic. Very interesting way to mark griefers. Your bad actions follow you.
How about a Bless mechanic to give blue text to those who have gained the love and gratitude of their ancestors? Shouldn't affect anything but text color. I'd be more excited if my new baby was a blue F.

Checked the log this morning and you were telling the truth that you were not Steve, so I apologize for pointing my finger at you and getting all butt hurt about it.
I can see in the log you had three kills, oddly enough it doesn't count you as killing Cindy in the log file. Instead if has it chalked up to old age even though the lineage shows you killed her. Might be an override for the old age.
Where the other person i'll just refer to as Steve had five total kills, three as Steve and two other as an Unnamed.
How you check player log? Teach me.

I am Faris. When my mom 60 years old. I kill her by knife and Michaela chase me. She can not attack me with knife. Then I bring a bow and arrow for her. She still miss and she shot her baby.

I think, we only can kill griefer if they stay or they run around us (very close). If they run to hide, we can not kill them.

I reborn in Apilado family again. I am playing now. Still have not enough curse point. I am Moana Apilado now.

Forge is cheaper than stone wall.
Also you can use from all sides.
If you have tool or cut stone, you can make stone wall very easy. Griefer did not begin from zero. She have at least four cut stones.

I am Eliza. When i am a baby, i see a girl use stone wall and block forge. After 2 turn, all villager begin care about her. We make pick axe to destroy wall. But we lose pick axe every time we destroy wall. She build and build again. A man chase her but he not success. We can not curse her because she is nameless. When we ask why she do that. She said: Because an old man. Ask him. No way to ask why an old man can make a baby do that. And almost people die. I go to make a bow and an arrow. But first time, i chose wrong person. Next, i must wait so long. When she stay and hide behind her daughter, i shot her, lucky, she die. But i think i take more curse than her. She curse me once and maybe, her daugter who born after almost people die will curse me. I think i fail.
Take his arrow, go make a bow. Now it's equal chance to kill him back.
I think you did not try to kill griefer in game. Griefer is not newbie. When they run, you can not shot. You think some code work, but not.
And you say like all is our mistake. Have ever you see baby just quit game when they born. Or do you think we can care child when murder run around and wait we stay. Someone can survive make murder guiltless?

His name is Sam. First time, he shot me with an arrow but miss. He take 2 curse. And he curse me back. But he run and liar that he making new arrow for goose. Then he back and kill all people. I am the last but i too old to have baby.
