Dear Des,
The town was 7.6k away, and I was devastated. But then I saw you hitched to a fence, and thought "Hey, this could work after all". I used my own sheepskin clothes to sew you a saddle and we were off. I was terribly lonely, and it was a long travel, so I talked to you. You were almost killed by a snake a few times, but after thirty years of talking to you we found the towns I had been waiting for. I hitched you up with the other horses and decided to write about my travels with you: "Hilton May and Des the horse were here"

I saw my favorite casino and decided that you would like it. So I made a fence and hitched you onto it, just outside the casino. Next to you I placed my writing about the travels.
I saw a girl with a bloody knife and killed her, so I'm pretty sure the town never liked me. But you were always there, Des, and you always loved me, until the minute I died. I hope they're treating you all right.
- Hilton May

Dear girl of the Honor family,
Thanks for playing cards for me. You were my queen of hearts.
- Hilton May

Dear May family,
I stole y'alls horse. Steve, I hope you lived, mate. I always sympathized with you. Love ya, mom. Sorry I left so soon.

actually 5 without even that.

yet, no matter how many kids survive my family lines die like crazy, and of starvation.

I am just on a winning streak, because I often die from animals, but it is not that GD hard to not starve in this game, why do so many of the kids i raise old enough to take care of themselves starve?

[granted, i had the annoyance of 4 60 minute male games in a row.]

People usually starve because they take nearby food for granted, and then when there's a famine they don't know what to do because they haven't explored outside the camp so they don't know where to find food. Also it's easier for women to starve because having babies really drains your food meter. Most of my young deaths are animal-based but sometimes when you're young food has to be close as a guarantee, and if your town is going through a rough patch and it's not, you will almost certainly die.

Second, babies now inherit the last monument bell that their mother heard before they were born.  This bell will "echo" through the genetic mother-baby connection when the baby is 0.5 years old.  Thus, trans-generational pilgrimages to distant monuments is now possible (journeys that are too long to make in one lifetime).

Yessss!

Mice would be a good update idea... and cats to hunt the mice? But then you could also train the mice using dried up corn.

#586 Re: Main Forum » Questions To The Daytime Players » 2019-01-26 14:56:22

I'm not really sure why that is. I think it's because all the teenyboppers have a certain time when they play, which would probably be  ... sometime after school on weekdays and maybe early morning or afternoon on weekends? There are teenyboppers in other places too but not as many.

#587 Re: Main Forum » Save the brain dead daughters! » 2019-01-26 14:52:04

To be honest I think the brain deads are better than what I call the "bottom-feeders": The women that don't want to work so they end up overeating and overfeeding their kids so it looks like they're doing something. Bottom-feeders are far too common in my opinion hmm

Pop
And I was high
From last life's wild
How to explain it?
Mother wore a slab of mutton
Atop her curly mop
Still her head was high
Nose in the air
If only she had a nose
"MA"
"Hmm?"
"I" "HI'' "GH"
"Oh god"
"What have I done?"
"We have to get rid of"
"Satan baby"
A man with a turkey on his head
Somehow I decided
The turkey was no hallucination
"Eyyyyyy" he goes
"A druggie like me"
"Ew" - that was mom.
Of course.
"Snob!"
A giggle escaped
/joy
Mom drew her knife
"Hey now, curly."
"Excuse me?!"
Pop
I jumped
Turkey-man seemed mildly amused
Like a face
From last life's wild
I recognized
Mom was /angry
The knife was quivering decidedly
In her hand
"Mom" came from my sister Angel
Curly and sweet
And obviously mom's favorite
"Don't kill" "turkey man"
I loved Angel
Mom was devastated "He's being a jerk"
"Mom"
/sad from Mom
Turkeyman was not intimidated "Don't you dare, snob"
/angry from Mom
out came the knife
I ran to the left as people gathered
Like sheep to a carrot row
Stab and a scream.
At the last second
Angel
Had ran in front
Of Turkeyman
"No!" From Mom
And Turkey
And me
/sad "What have I done"
Villagers were angry
"Leave mom"
Last words from angel
We never got over it
I saw rocks floating over Angel's grave
Or maybe roses
I was too high to tell
Mom never got over it
She couldn't
So she did the only thing she could
She died

Apocalypse is a way to unite pro players when they get bored, it never kills just destroys towns. I understand that it's not for everyone, though

#592 Re: Main Forum » Do full domestic gooseberries or dead gooseberries ever despawn? » 2019-01-24 13:41:11

Yeah, if you leave them on the ground they rot. It was annoying when a village started putting all their berries into baskets and they kept rotting, so I killed them all with the help of my son. So... don't do that. big_smile

Are you lonely while trying to sustain a large berry farm while keeping lazy people who sit around feeding babies pie alive? Sick and tired of being the only one who composts?

Then try OHOL DATING - arranged by yours truly - and meet cute singles like this one!

That's not quite how it works. The gist of it is that I will match photos from diff family trees. Yours, if you ask. The reason is because I'm bored. Here's my first ship:

Rose Hereth, a 27 year old treehugger, attractive, three children. http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=3056901

After some experimentation, I've determined that the ritual is made stronger if you replace the four pieces of mutton with pork.

I don't know why, but it seems to please the Gods to a higher degree.   Good luck and may Nosaj bless your efforts.

Have you guys tried the Satan Ritual?

What you do is you light four piles of glasswort on fire and stand in the middle of them so it looks like a diamond around you. Then you say "Satan, bless (son or daughter's name). May (he/she) live long." Then you have to sacrifice your blood to a snake.

Also the Female Babies ritual. This is partly a spoken ritual.
You will need: A knife, an old man, a baby boy, a place to store the knife, a snake nearby and a bowl of glasswort ashes
You stand next to a male elder in the scorching heat of the desert wearing nothing. This is how it goes.
You: Baby young
Elder: Baby old
You: Give us babies
Elder: Give me grandkids
You: Make them ladies
Elder: Let them live
You: With this knife *pull out knife*
Elder: With her hand
You: *stabs elder* Give me babies
Elder: Borne in the desert sand
You: Make them girls
Elder: And bear their own
Then, bury the elder. Place the bowl of ashes on his gravestone.

Next you will need a male baby

You: Baby young, baby old, I must have my baby girl
You: By any means, your story ends
You: *holds baby* You are how I make amends

Drop the male baby onto a snake, then stab him
You: With each drop a girl will come
Count as high as you can out loud before he dies
That's how many girls you will have

"Q" means you use the forum.

#600 Re: Main Forum » I dub this place "san-cal 2" » 2019-01-21 18:07:59

I was just there again: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=3012430 I wrote law on the blank sign outside one of the buildings, grew two bushes in the entryway and wrote two laws:
" LAW I - NO MORE QUEENS. EVER. ELECT A PRESIDENT "
" LAW II - MURDER CASES ARE HELD IN THE LAW ROOM "

I also started a bonsai for the courtroom but I died of old age while pruning it so it's out in the open now.
Our town was going through a little famine but compost is on its way so hopefully we will survive. There were murders and I'm pretty sure there was only one or two fertile females left but fingers crossed we will survive.
