With small adjustment, yes. When you are on imgur with your picture, right click this picture and choose open in a new card. Then url from this new card

The biggest reason one would have to explore nowadays would be finding females. Most lines die to a lack of fertile females and being able to get one from another village is a nice way to save your doomed one.

Get them by right clicking on domestic goose - in a large town most ponds will have been made into wells. Also, stacking pies would be useful, and chickens, and maybe cheese.
One more thing: it's incredibly hard for players to even try to start working on half the new technology because the game is still in "hunter-gatherer mode" where you didn't want us to create large cities. I see more and more large cities but most are just large berry farms and I I've barely gotten to try half the new technology, let alone make a car.

True, hypothetically. But unless everyone is working constantly (they never do) and being responsible with materials, and unless their spot has all the necessary resources and there are virtually no fatal grievers (there always are) and not keeping all their babies (most everyone does); And the majority of people have played long enough to know how to work the complicated, painful technology that is so crucial to the town.
Theres a reason why towns can't get past ~35 generations.
