Them moving goalposts. But I'm sure one could find an older game with an even more involved language system. Nihil novi sub sole.
Wait, what?
Wow has yum chains?
WOW has other players speaking other languages that you can actually learn over time?
Oh, you mean REAL-WORLD languages? Like Japanese players that you run into?
I thought H&H has a full-blown simulated nutrition system...
WoW has Horde/Alliance language filters, and it's actually possible to learn the other faction's language because the filter is consistent. KEK is LOL in Horde language.
In H&H you need to get number of food points equal to your highest stat to gain a stat point, but for each unique food you eat between two stat gains the points requirement is reduced by ( 2 * sqrt(maxStat * 10) / 10.
How many features of this game have never existed before in the history of multiplayer computer games?
--Other cultures speaking a different learnable language, and going through the process of radical translation as a player.
--YUM chains to actually motivate a varied diet.

Are you forgetting all the iron needed to actually get oil?
Yeah, this is awesome. We just need to enhance the roleplay by pretending the people on the inside and Palestinians and outside are Israelis. Make sure to stream that shit too.
You could use the same seed for generating map but reseed for picking a random rift box location each time.

Basically just add a kerosene wick burner to a standard charcoal pump. Burner is steel rod bored three times and rope added. Steel rod is hot steel once on a roller.
Yup, lots of Down's going on here.
I think the main problem with surviving in this new update is that there's too many people for the resources available in the hell cell. So obviously the new meta should be not spawning on any server that has more than ~20 people.
So where did we, the players, go wrong?
You pressed the "Login" button.
Yeah this game turning from coop to PvP is basically why I quit. Playing Mordhau instead, because it's PvP is actually good.
Hopefully iron mine upgrades analogous to well upgrades.
Pls no professions, it sounds awful.
I've worked 4 years with Unity, and IMO it's very flexible, you can pick and choose what to use. I used my own physics and pathfinding, for example, and a guy I worked with wrote shaders. So I wouldn't agree it's stylistically limiting. One gripe I do have with it, tho, is it has god awful hiccups on garbage collection. I'm writing my own 2D engine now, and yeah it's kinda fun, but it's super time consuming and if your goal is to get an actual game out it's overkill in most cases (I'm just doing it for portfolio).
Unity might not have a 2D terrain generator as stock feature, but the nice thing is you can find virtually anything in their store for <50$.
But still, changing terrain generator shouldn't take 2 months. I haven't looked at your code, but I'm guessing you heavily prioritize writing fast code over flexible code. I've noticed lots of OG devs just can't bring themselves to sacrifice CPU/memory efficiency and go full by-the-book OOP, but there's a reason why OOP is so popular these days.
Nice thing about moving to a finite map would be that you could use square diamond, which tends to make a look nicer looking terrain than random blotches. And is there even a point to infinite map if Eve spawn location is limited to a finite area?
How many of those 2000 objects are made on a daily basis? 200?
Great update (y)
If that was the case it'd be actual useful content, and we can't have that.
Plane used to dump you on the Eve spiral if no landing pads were present in chosen direction, so it makes sense it's working like this. If anything it's a buff because it's now harder to irretrievably lose the plane.
I think it'll settle down in a couple of days.
Milkweed is extra grindy because you have to do two bowls of soil for one and you need two tiles to get anything useful, it adds up to a lot of clicks and walking. Farming other crops feels much nicer.
Milkweed is the bottleneck for virtually everything in the game, because for vast majority of things you might want to do you need either rope or bucket. Getting milkweed is time-intensive, whether you're farming it or gathering wild, so it eats up too many years from whatever project you're trying to do. And it's tedious to farm/gather milkweed almost every single life. Also, it really kills the feeling of advancing tech when you're always stuck doing the first piece of tech in the game. Plus it's kinda unaesthetic, when have you ever seen people farming milkweed IRL? So Jason, please promise me not to add any more recipes requiring milkweed, at least until you add alternative paths to getting thread, rope and buckets.
Have you ever actually tried? Totally impossible. You'll be lucky to get like ten baskets made in a lifetime if you take care of the grain, and ten baskets is a drop in the ocean when it comes to actual needs of a village.
