I just fuck off as well. Especially when its a giant city and there's no more trees around. I get kinda bored in super advanced cities because it's same old same old.
I mean, obviously the game will be last fun for those of you who grief all the time. Hopefully it will be like real life, where you only grief once in a while instead of every fucking day.
Can we have more fun, ohol culture specific words instead of religious ones?
“Boar you Ron!”
“Starve you Jack!”
“Gooseberry you Mack!”
Slower decay time please. People on discord was agreeing how awful and griefy the main server was all day yesterday.
This was my character today. Between my character and the bbs from that character, we had *three* different murderers attack us.
I was left with a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm an experienced player. If I was a n00b and kept respawning in shit town Trinity (which I spawned there three maybe four times today) I would've have thought that OHOL was a pvp, demoralizing game.
"So you could imagine some metric of how often your life ends in murder"
A better metric is how often you murder. Maybe a balance of both.
Honestly, I don't worry as much about soil, tree (once we can regrow trees), food griefing. Because as long as the population grows they can recover. But killing off fertile females pretty much is an ender for all civs.
The punishment colony could be a separate server, there's tons of empty servers. And if that saperate server is always pvp and crazy, some people might like that best and just log into that server.
I'm not sure about the broken heart syndrome. I think people would stay a bit longer, especially if it's a great family.
In the beginning especially, we lure newbies in with the twins gimmick, I know my friend would prob want to play as a twin. But if your game is good enough, then they might want to stay and discover the game even if my char dies.
There are only 10 keys.
I repeat:
There are only 10 keys.
I finally taught myself how to make locks and keys, weeks after buying the game. It's an advanced skill.
Most people can barely make an axe.
Jason, transgenerational projects is hard when the system favors griefers. Especially new camps, even in big cities, the reason they keep going is some Eve luckily spawned in them.
He wants us to self police.
At this point I am happy to grief griefers.
These violent delights have violent ends.
To my son Samiul,
I'm sorry I didn't come back to the hoe. I reached food and was a few seconds away from eating a berry before I died. I hope you found other people before you died in the town sw.
If you don't like what signs say there are ways to vandalize that sign. If the sign isn't locked you can take an axe to the sign. If the letters are locked you can take the letters and hide it.
yeah we did exactly the same with 4 yesterday evening, on same server. We actually rather do that regulary, it's so nice to be able to play peacefully without worry.
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … &id=411876we were even joined at the end by a random player that saw people on the server.
we did pretty much the same, we had a forging station, a sheep pen with compost station, a pig and goose pen, a stew garden and all the tools needed.i still have't meddled with dying clothes yet.
We found your town. And I dyed some clothes red! And there's a bunch of antivenom now.
So our group spent like over an hour trying to spawn into the town we made yesterday, however we just couldn't find it. I saw signs of civ but couldn't find it.
Later on in the day, my Eve saw signs of soil being used, and I was a bb in her arms and we found a town! We were so excited to find our town, but then upon further investigation, we realized it wasn't our town.
Our original town has one base layer of Bell Tower, yours did too. But we added two more layers to it tonight.
We made a giant sheep pen, with stones, it's pretty impressive. Our group was there for about six hours tonight, so it looks quite different. Hopefully you get to visit it again some day.
I went around the town in a large radius and left markers and disturbances, it should go in a circle around the town. So hopefully we will find it again tomorrow.
Tiles reset on server restart unless they have been seen(might still be interacted with?) in the last 24 hours.
Thank you!
Do y’all know how long does it take for a tile to reset? Thanks!
I joined a random server with 2 people. And they just let me die. SAD.
So yesterday about seven or eight of us spawned in server12, where no one was logged in. First I went in as Eve and found a spot with a ton of water, soil, reeds, near a dessert. Was excited about all the resources and forgot to check berries. Oops.
Anyways, after several minutes, people took turns spawning in as bbs. I fed them and they went off to the wilds. After a few generations we stabilized with the food, and had a farm going.
We ended up with a sheep pen, a wheat farm, someone even caught a baby boar, which turned into a wild boar and killed several of us. We had stew and bean burritos.
There was some suicides to get the bbs to be female so we could get reborn to each other. A few times an Eve spawned near us. We could've kept the town going indefinitely but then we had to go to sleep.
It was amazing what it was like to play with a group where everyone did their work. There was a few arguments about resources, but not that much. And there was no griefing, until the end where someone made a ton of crock pots. Still it was minor, and it was nice not having strangers yelling insults at us.
It felt chill and we just worked and built a farm. It was nice.
Eve Partyka (was Party!)

Agent2, it helps when you do that to have someone else too, we did that last night, and just suicided till born as a female.
It was seven flint-tipped in this city. I collected them.

Eve Night,
I was Moon, your first born. We didn't make it, but we sure had an adventure wondering around the wilderness, looking for civ, finding a bear (which stupid kid did that?) And then actually finding the civ... and then dying!
I had a great time ![]()
I think you let this happen to you once as a baby and you realize that you need to jump out.
I think Jason said he was going to fix this soon.
I only recognize people after the fact. But if you have a silly funny mama or bro, there’s a high chance it’s me ![]()
What is the most soil and water efficient food that isn’t too high tech?
I've seen you a few times in game, Its tempting to kill you everytime I catch you in the same town as me. But even if your arrogant your still not worth killing.
How do you know its him?
