cursing doesn't work because griefers just despawn after they are cursed by two people.

I will return and bury you and put sheep shit on your grave.  I hope you had fun griefing in a village that was just starting out.  No one there hurt you or was unkind to you.  Some people can't get past their inadequacies I suppose.

#103 Re: Main Forum » Any working railways yet? » 2018-08-18 23:04:39

Now that we have roads, can we make linear berry farms please?

#104 Re: Main Forum » What is the Worst Item in OHOL? » 2018-08-18 22:56:13

Corn kernel.  I can’t stand corn kernels everywhere.  They’re so small and take up a whole tile.  Hate em

#105 Re: Main Forum » List of Jobs » 2018-08-18 22:41:24

Gold miner.  This job requiors a pic axe, a cart, and three bowls.  You can fill the bowls with berries before you go out for gold.  Bring food in a back pack.  It helps to have clothes though I’ve done this job naked.  It’s a nice job for when town life gets messy and you need to get away.

Horse hitch setter.  You need a shovel, stakes, round rock, and fence kits.  Travel to the popular rabbit hunting grounds and iron mines and set fences to hitch horses to.

Medic.  This job means keeping a fire going ALWAYS to sterilize knives.  And keeping water boiling for when griefers dirty the pads.

Road crew.  Not just building roads, but also planting a linear berry farm!

There is a lack of festivals of celebration.  I would like to see some ceremonial masks, dancing, fireworks, music, etc.  Can we please have some moments of leisure when life is getting good in our town?

#107 Re: Main Forum » Anti Grief Ideas » 2018-08-17 03:47:20

Here are the ways to kill someone:
1) starve them as a baby
2) shoot them with an arrow
3) stab them with a knife
4) lock them in prison to starve to death

There are ways to avoid all of these.
1) find a relative to feed you as a baby
2) always have a fire going in your town to sterilize the knife
3) always have water boiling to clean dirty pads
4) never go into a locking building if you are not holding the key

Griefers tend to ruin all the pads or put a rock on the fire before murdering.  The medicine man/woman should always keep water boiling and fires burning.

I would like to dip my buttered bread into my stew please.

I ran around chasing my twin griefer daughters with a knife and stabbed them multiple times to no avail.  it did nothing to them.  They were obviously cheating.  Skip and Kiki Aria, I spawned back into our town and found your bodies.  I buried you in the desert and put sheep shit on your graves.

Yes. Water pipes so that farms can be expanded and water can be pumped in after wells dry up

#112 Re: Main Forum » Is there a trick to finding towns as an eve? » 2018-08-04 18:48:40

When I am looking for a town I head either North West or South East.  I saw a chart of Eve spawn locations and decided that most towns fell on those lines.

#113 Re: Main Forum » Is there a trick to finding towns as an eve? » 2018-08-04 18:45:46

I’ve spawned into a town as an eve about five times and it’s great.  I have heard that it is because I died there of old age and my home marker is still there.  I wonder if this is true or just a legend???

#114 Re: Main Forum » [Disc] things you don't like about gameplay » 2018-08-02 01:59:33

Some day, all of the wells will dry up.  When that happens, we’ll need water pipes to carry water from far away lands.  I’d also like to be able to take a drink in the desert instead of ditching my clothes to cool off  when I’m working out there cutting and gathering wood.

There are not enough festivals of celebration.  I would like to have at least one time of rejoicing and merriment per life.  May I suggest fireworks and the weaving of colorful banners and costumes?

I want to put a sign on my cart and sell stew or tacos or pies.  I want to build roads that actually connect towns.

#115 Re: News » Update: Server lag optimzation and client improvements » 2018-07-21 03:26:40

Thanks so much, Jason.  None of what you just said makes any sense to me whatsoever but I’m so grateful to have this game.  It’s lots of fun and I appreciate the hard work you put into it.

#116 Re: News » Update: Twins » 2018-07-18 03:11:01

I like the tutorial, curse, and twins.  Now, I want trade routs, irrigation pipes, fabric banners, and fireworks.

I'd much rather see more and more advanced technologies,

thats what makes the game fun for me, and i like that it also educates people about how actual society and economy work in a way that books and schooling can't. I'd love to see the game further in that direction.. I have zero interest in any new food changes other than the soil and water availability increases.

I am hoping you keep expanding the tech tree to include ever more advanced capabilities. (rather than just ever more recipes)

I get what you are saying here, but I think food varieties are benigicial to society.  One thing I’ve noticed in this game is that there is little time for festivals or celebration.  I have come close to these things twice in the game.  First was way back when in a carrot rich society that was dwindling.  There was only one woman and we wanted her to conceive so we made sure she was warm with a fire and clothes.  That wasn’t working, so we we all pulled off our clothes and danced around her.  It worked! That was fun and it had me laughing at my computer! The next time was recently in an extremely overcrowded but well fed society.  Eight of us gathered around a stump for the beheading of a goose.  There were many lols and cheers.  Having different foods gives us pleasure and brings us together in new ways.   Who could murder the guy who gave you a taco?  And why make irrigation, refrigeration, and farm automation if we’re just going to grow carrots?

yessssss! I’ve seen two eggs get burned so far, but no new fancy meals yet.  Geese with their heads cut off are funny! And I enjoyed chasing goslings.  I’m having fun again.

#123 Re: Main Forum » More Depth for Nomadic lifestyle? Help Brainstorm! » 2018-05-05 00:56:16

How about a quest for something that will be a boon to all players.  Nomads could search the wilderness for the key to the next item in the tech tree.  Or perhaps it could be a fountain of youth to let you live to 80 or 90 for ten or so people. Or it could be a special plant that allows you to never go hungry.  Whatever cool gift it happens to be, having a quest would draw people out into the wild and give nomads an extra purpose besides just surviving

I name all of my children Jason. I have been born into a monolith community of Jason worshipers in the past. Blessed.

#125 Re: News » Update: From Riches to Rags » 2018-04-24 13:31:45

Can we please have:
1) ice boxes to keep food fresh
2) irrigation pipes so that we don't lose water pouches when baskets decay
3) a use for old baskets such as compost or kindling
