That's awesome! So many dead towns
https://onehouronelife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=6315 This is how it works
You're welcome
Well, also apart from getting Jason to add lineage-curses only... ![]()
I never really got pissed at him in the first place (Other than the incessant bragging). So I'm kind of "Eh, cool" about the whole thing
That's disheartening. I love what you're doing, and these updates make much more interesting stories to be a part of

Well, technically there is no morality, fairness, or really anything in this game.
You can do what you want -- and that's what happens, isn't it?
True, and to be honest, it did add to the story. But I guess I was showing what I would do in that situation, since I know what it's like to lose hard work
Do not do a rope and a basket. The amount of mistakes people would make when doing milkweed runs

This is the coolest fucking story I've read all year. Bravo
I don't really care about his griefing, but it is amusing that he persisted despite the fact that the gig was up a long time ago. I'm glad you gave in
As of right now, it's because I want to master the many languages present in the big cities, and learn what the best way of going about learning is, or what words are most necessary for translating
What's next, armor? Guns? Cannons?
Atomic powered robots who's sole purpose is to defend our town?
Is that where all this is going? You want us to make terminators and drones to fight wars?
Slooow down, a sword is no where near guns and cannons. He is in no way turning this game into a 2D battle game, this is like the 2nd update ever that's pushed for war. Swords were a half-bad half-ok idea that I think were meant to counter the fact that you can't curse another family line
You sold the game as a parenting simulator; people want to care for each other, and you're going to let the ones that kill people turn them away. Then you'll be left with another dead game, like all the other garbage you've made.
That's just a shit thing to say, especially coming from you Morti
Rip Bada family

Yes, the bell tower creates a different class of home marker, an "ancient" one that is at the bottom of your marker stack. So you can't see it without clearing all your other markers.
It may not be clear to people, but new markers stack on top of previous ones, allowing you to work at a temporary outpost for a while, and then clear that marker and make your way back home. So you could park your cart in the rock biome, mark it, and then prospect for iron, and find your cart easily. Then, when you're ready to go home, clear the cart home marker, and you'll start navigating back to your old home marker.
Like waypoints.
I did not know that, and WOW is that useful to know!
I guess I'll never get to duel Toxic ![]()
Can you place a new one?
Can't you just break it, and it'll show the belltower direction?
/ill or !
Instead of walled cities, have farm plots. It's effective enough, and during a raid, the residents can retreat inside their own plots to avoid getting the women killed, living off of their small farms for the time being. It also avoids the whole griefer among us thing, as you're not trapped in with them, rather they're stuck outside of your plot
My last words as a squad of ginger adults came in sweeping through the populus, armed with swords. I began chasing one with excitement and fear, my sword poised which I had stolen from another barbarian. His sister came in and killed me from behind. They both glared at me and, what I assumed, laughed at me. I could tell by their evil expressions. I didn't like to see all this death, I wanted families to co-exist and to collaborate, so I screamed one of the only three words I knew; Peace.
I did manage to get some stuff done though, that short period of time I spent in a city. I had to travel 1k tiles before I reached what I knew would be hell. But I made a living, and offered some papers to help with the language barrier.
Apart from the few remaining issues with swords, I'm LOVING this update Jason!
As far as I know, Hmrka had a habit of killing in the past, but they've come back to bite even though they've changed their playstyle to a more friendly one
...
Yeah I posted my own thread on that, but it kinda got buried ![]()
Thanks for showing it again though ![]()
God bless him
