Man OHOL is great, and you also designed a special engine for it. Im not sure tho if that engine is open source?
I have always wondered if ohol is Jason’s full time job, or does he just do it when he’s not doing his other job. And if this is his full time job how does he make his income since this game has no micro-transactions (which is amazing!). There’s only ever been 150 people max playing at one time and maybe a 1000 people every week. It would be great if Jason let these stats show.

Again and again I see people hating on griefers. Which is important it would bad if people didn’t hate griefers. I just think that banning me or any other griefer isn’t the solution (I hope Jason thinks this too). I wouldn’t mind if griefing was made harder it would make it more enjoyable. But then I see these crazy posts like making a new server for griefers.
This however is just dumb, you pay $20 not for the game but access to the main servers. If Jason does decide to ban griefers he will have to refund our money too. I’m not saying that Jason would care about refunding the money but he would feel as if he failed if he banned us. Jason wants people to be able to fight griefers he wants police men or SAFETY OFFICERS I saw a post about this recently which was good. Most of the time I’m successful in griefing a town is because that town has no idea that im killing them. Griefing isn’t as straight forward as people think it takes skill and if it took more skill I would like it.
I personally have bought 3 accounts for this game which is $60. This is not just because I have curses on my account it’s also because I want to support Jason. I know people are going to say that I’m ruining this game by griefing and I’m turning people away from it.
But I think I’m not im normally only griefing once or twice a week and I like to play the game normally otherwise. I sometime enjoy griefing and thats how I like the game. I would buy new accounts just for the sole purpose of helping Jason rather then donating money via patron or whatever he uses.
Then again if I’m in a town and I tell them I’m Toxic some people are like “OMG! I’m a huge fan!” Then a few seconds later half the town is stabbing me and I’m getting cursed by everyone.

I'm more and more supporting those who think griefers should be banned from this forum.

Today was a great day. Killed at least 3 towns today the archers, milks and some other town. I was too lazy to screenshot it but i know some people who were playing at that time. We killed this town but 1 girl ran away but we chased her down and my friend (name classified) stabbed her. She was cool about it and said that she had a lot of fun, even this old guy was kind enough to name me Grier. After killing this town we started heading towards the milk town. Since I had a horse I made it there first and stabbed this girl. The players in that town were decent so immediately a manhunt started. There was chaos everywhere and then my friend came in and stabbed another girl. We finished almost the whole town until my friend got stabbed, but I healed and then he got stabbed again. I stabbed another girl and got stabbed while on cooldown. There was 1 girl and a few guys left, when I told them I was toxic this guy asked for my autograph but too late I died. Then luckily but idk how I was born to that same town when I clicked get reborn, my friend was in donkey town now. I was born as their girl and when I was 3 my mom was old the whole town was so happy. Then I told them that I was toxic and I had just successfully griefed their town. My mother out of rage stabbed me and the uncle was like you got us good dude. Then I died and I was the last girl so milk town died etc etc happy ending I killed 3 towns.

Lol I feel your pain. Once I was in this town and this guy asked me who i am. I was like I’m toxic and the next minute I had 3 people chasing me with a knife. I eventually lost them and stabbed them 1 by 1. Then I killed 2 girls but the last girl ran off. So I tracked her down and killed her new village she was starting. It was quit fun to see the odds against my favour. But superior combat skill rules.
Well right now you can go from an eve town to a fully civilised town in under 10 hours
Because I didn't want to quit I was just very angry and frustrated and fed up.

So I made a post saying that griefers shouldn’t be banned and they have a role in this game. In the post Jason kindly replied with this list

He also specifically states this list was given to him by his friend. The Mr futurebird read this post and um..... ok let’s move on so he read the post and got very very angry. He decided to quit the game because Jason posted that list. There was a lot of talk on the discord about how if Jason says that towns should have griefers that should include eve towns. Well sorry to break this to you it doesn’t. I don’t know if that list is in a particular order but griefing is on the end of the list. Nobody cares about the other roles but NO! Jason can’t say that griefing is a role in an town. It’s quite common sense do eve towns need a dedicated builder NO do eve towns need dedicated herders or bakers no.
Also no one would waste their time griefing an eve town, at least not most of the griefers I know. If you see somebody griefing an eve town he’s a little kid who decided to reduce his anger by killing an eve town. But “OH NO! IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE WHY DID JASON POST THIS!! I AM GOING TO MAKE A POST ABOUT QUITING THIS GAME BUT THEN 10 HRS LATER IM GONNA MAKE A POST ABOUT HOW I BECAME A GRIEFER.” Like futurebird if you made post saying you quit and want to take a break then why did you make a post of you becoming a griefer 10 hrs later?

I understand that you are frustrated at people killing you. Those people however are not us they are random try hard raging kids who get pissed at everything. Now if you want to take a break from the game that is your desicion. I also took a brief break and now I’m back and have more fun then ever. On the forums I’ve heard a lot of talk about griefers and banning griefers. Even stylingirl who is a mod thinks griefers should be banned. If you need to start banning people that grief to make your game better it’s a sign that the game mechanics need to be changed. I wouldn’t mind if griefing was made harder because I like it as a challenge. It’s really not challenging anymore. Maybe do something to make griefing challenging.
Now about banning griefers of forums. This also is a dumb request because I post about griefing here. I am not hate speeching or harassing someone and am posting stuff about my life’s. If I killed a town in my life I have full freedom to post it here.
I’m just happy that Jason is a good down to earth dev. If he was like the majority of people out there he would be banning griefers easily. He understands the bigger picture, he is trying to make the game harder to grief instead of banning griefers. He supports all types of play styles. Even if his recent cursing change wasn’t the best to stop griefing he at least didn’t just ban me and tried to change the game to stop people like me. If I had never made that post I could’ve kept doing that to streamers. I know griefers like me are annoying but hopefully one day we will make the game better.

Dude this is actually a good idea. Not saying this from a griefers perspective. This would make griefing harder and more challenging. As of now griefing is way to easy.

Toxic is right Jason, the curse changes benefits no one besides griefers, even if players do somehow manage to maintain fences. There are still mods that tell people exactly where other towns are and towns that already have mixed lineages and you can't tell who your relative is createss situations that are easily taken advantage of. At this point you should honestly just ban the most notorious griefers because they don't add any entertainment or drama to this game, just annoyance. It won't spark wars or feuds, it will only encourage single killers that destroy towns.
Ban griefers. Not the best of ideas. Griefing is a part of the game I have no idea why pit bulls were added, if they were added why we can make them mean pit bulls. Why snowballs could kill in the past. It was encouraging grifters. Banning grifters won’t result in anything. If this game represents real life then crime is a part of real life. And if grifters have more skills then normal player it’s too bad for you.
If 1 person can a kill a town, that does NOT deserve to live
I’ve personally fended of many grifters when I’m not griefing. We had a twin griefing party. I stabbed one and when. The other one healed his friend since they had hidden pads somewhere. Then he tried to stab me but I got away, then I waited till they stabbed someone then I healed that person and stabbed the grifters, it’s whole point of having dedicated guards. If village use dedicated guards griefing would not be easier. Guards aren’t useless.
Well thank you Jason. I am really happy to know that since the target of my response was twisted you have changed the cursing system. I guess if I target twisted in anyway you will nerf it. Anyways the new cursing and fences bring multiple ideas for griefing. I totally agree with oblong that the new change made griefing a whole lot easier. I can finally post photos of my life without getting cursed by 20 people in discord.... oh im banned there. I can finally post pictures of my griefing lives on forum without get cursed by 20 people! Thankyou i can also go to other villages and grief there without anyone being able to curse me. Im also very good at killing people in the middle of town and avoiding getting stabbed. again thank you jason.
Ill probably make another post on how to find coordinates soon. SO more people can use this trick.
