I dont mind that he cant keep up with the content.
Making a game takes time, i prefer a solid game with depth much over a rushed game.
I like this points:
* make resources more renewable
* add visible emotes
* add writing and signs
* add cyclical events (pseudo- day/night, seasons, weather, etc.)
I love berries to, but sometimes people forget to water them or use shovels.
I don't know if the worms respawn inside the empty soil pit.
Now that we need worms to make compost, we need a way to make more worms.
Otherwise every civilization will run out of farm land sooner or later.
But it makes sense, i always name my kids so if one of them turns into a murderer i can tell who it is.
Also i try to give them positive names in the hope they will do positive things.
Alot of my deaths happen when i run into a wolf or a bear. It happens more often than starving to me.
If you run around and explore, it is sometimes very difficult to avoid.
If you get unlucky a wolf/bear might randomly run exactly in your direction while you run towards it, this will most likely kill you without having a chance to avoid it.
(Also very annoying are wolfs/bears that hide behind trees)
For me its very frustrating to die like this. It feels like I had no chance to avoid death.
Now this problem happens to me when I not use horses.
When i step on a horse I am suddenly twice as fast and it feels like a suicide ride.
To solve this problem i would like to see:
- Bigger render distance (zooming out 2x - 3x). If we can see more tiles it will be easier to avoid dangerous animals. I think this also helps with alot of other problems and would greatly improve the game.
- WASD movement (using keys to move around). This would make it easier to react fast and maybe more convenient to move around in general.
- No instant death. We need maybe an health bar to make this possible. So when you get hit by something you lose health or hunger instead of immediately dieing. (would also improve pvp?)
I found this gif from InSpace, which fits very well
Or how about making it so if you leave the map on one side you enter it on the other side? This could be done without the player noticing anything when he walks over an edge.
This way the map size can only get as big as you define it.
So all servers reset from time to time? Or just server 1?
I really wish they wouldn't reset, but maybe that would be bad?
If the servers would never reset people would run out of resources (stones, trees...)
I don't know any way to create stones or trees, is there one?
