While playing the tutorial the sound disappeared sometimes and came again.
we tried to make a town. I changed a few signs so if you follow them you find the town. One of us stayed there and made a lot of tools. We tried to get sheep and horse ![]()
Omg its to good you need to come and play all the tutorial! xD
Hmm... I went south a good while, but stepped on a rattle snake!
Last update a lot of people had client crashes while updating the client.
Last update I had also a crash, but when I started the game again the update worked normally.
This update the client crashes and the update wont work.
Is there any other solution then downloading the client again?
And could you provide a download link of the actual client in the forum?

But I thought jason updated one half of the servers and then the other servers. So there is no time in between where you cant play. I see the message also the first time.
Lets wait max an hour and then it should work. Maybe update news will come in soon.So it should get fixed soon?
yes! This is the update.

https://onetech.info/versions here you can see the changes in this update.
It has nothing to do with the home marker. The server knows nothing about home markers at all, actually.
If you live to old age as Eve, the next time you are born as Eve, you will spawn near where you died of old age.
What does near mean? And do you spawn as an eve on the same server next game?
A family member tried to kill a bear and instead shot me with the bow by accident.
The arrow was in my body, since I was shot I didnt took care of the bear and the bear bit me.
When he bit me the arrow disappeared. The ground was full of items. I dont know if it fall on the ground far away or if it got "deleted".
When I died. The death message said. Killed by a shot grizzly. In the family tree it shows that my family member killed me.
Trinity was yesterday so messy. I always fixed the problems there and after fixing I headed over to the small village in the south and build fences
I cached four horses there, but all went lost ![]()
There are so many sources of food now. Still we rely heavily on berry's or when caarozs are there on carrots ![]()
In 1/4 live I made 6-7 stew pots. I did it the first time. The crops were already planted.
In most towns the crops for stew are there, just most times it's the lack of pottery that hinders people.
When I am not wrong - Stew got 8 uses and each use is 2x12. So one pot if used correctly gives 192 bars and 6 of them 1.152.
So you need 6 of each crop. 6 squash fields, 2 corn fields and 6 bean fields. That's 14 soil and 20 water plus 1/3 of a hoe.
1152 bars are 54 berry bushes!!! 54 water and 54 soil!!!
And if you tale the composting in you need almodt two composts for the berry field and bit more then one for stew.
So, but even better don't eat solo stew. Get some eggs running, get some popcorn around for kids, pies,..... And eat your food bonus up. Once I had like 8 extra bars. Holy shit it was awesome.
All the berrys were dark green and some yellow. We cut a big load of berrys down. So it would be good to plant other crops in the 3x3 areas. At the sheep pen I planted some carrots.
We should continue to reduce the berrys. Also get some more clay for bowls and stew pots.
The town could also need some cleaning.
So there was a bear in a town. He bugged and was stuck. You could go to him and touch him. But when you walked or stand on the same tile then him, then he bite you. There was no wound, but the speech got red and the people died on the wound.
Healing was not possible, because it didnt showed a wound. We tried to heal without seeing the wound, but that didnt worked.
It doesnt matter where you click on the backpack it opens anyways. So try to click on the stripes.
there is a big sign. I build in this town a horse road to the south. Not finish yet, but I died while I was killing snakes. I started this road a few days ago with my daughter, died there on connection loss.
The road dont want to get finished

Can we actually stick this topic?
Sounds good!
To Helga,
we did so good together building the road!
Unfortunately I had a connection loss.. The horse is located west and a bit north from the town in a small settlement with people. Maybe it finds his way back home!
I was so sad when I had the connection loss ![]()
I was an eve and spawned into an griefed town.
All maple trees were cut in a really big radius, all firebows converted, all sheep killed, and so on.
The trees will be a hugh problem now rebuilding the city. Lets see what happens ![]()
Just updated one part of the first post. Rest will come later. Is this okay Morti? Do you want something added or deleted?
The worst is when people use the soil left near the berry farm to expand the farm not feed it. Dumping a little extra soil is not an invitation to plant more bushes while existing bushes are going brown.
Yes haha saw that to many times ![]()
Looking good!
Wouldn't it be better to change the boxes with the fences? Or the pic for south should be north, south pic should be north, same for east-west.
So you would stick consequent with the idea, that the wooden floor shows you that more roadmarkers will come and the side of the fence in relation to the floor leads you back to town?
Well let them take your kids. The kid can jump away! I once faced a baby rapist. He took the baby's and walked fast against big objects so he bumped back and forth with the baby.
He took several baby's and one mum got angry, tried to kill him and stabbed three non guilty people on her way by accident....
The iron is the big problem in the long run, before then, the stones and milkweed. It always seems that things grind to a halt because tools break and people aren't prepared to replace them. In the last few weeks I've lived in a few towns that have kept extra hoes around, ideally I think 3 or 4 are always best to have around, for various farms. This is why the job of the traveler is important, we have to find those iron veins and turn them to mines. We have to keep bringing back straight branches for tool handles, fences and stanchions.
It's a thankless job, when people only see you a few minutes of your adult life, but only know you by the supply of iron that shows up around the forges, or all the branches and logs you bring in and put at the carpentry station, or the roads you made that might lead them to a patch of cactus nearby where they may only go when the food supply is low. But we do it, because we know that it's useful. Every situation is inevitable; the iron will run out, the stanchions for the mines must be made, and there will always come a time when more people have eaten than they have grown and it will only occur to them too late that they should have farmed more as they flee the town in search of wild gooseberry bushes and cacti.
We must be willing to explore the world, for the sake of our family, and we must make the paths that will become roads, if our towns are to stand for longer than they've ever stood before.
On the point!
