Not this again. If you get spoonwood started he'll never shut up.

Keep up the good work jason. Stoked on a lot of these fixes.

You sound like you're still salty about that. Not my problem. *whistles*

The new hats look fine to me.  I saw some of 'karltown's' post on clothes, and I can't say that I agree with her taste.

Also, I don't anticipate that rabbits moving leads to griefing issues, other than shovel uses, but mass gravediggers already exist and aren't new.

We'll see how the update goes, but it looks like a step in the right direction at this point to me.

Stop throwing shade, 'spoonwood'

#180 Re: News » Update: Fixes Continue » 2020-01-04 00:29:31

also the "rabbit holes dug up" thing could be massively griefed.

The rose hats are ugly. Wish you'd put the flower part of the rose tucked in the corner of the hat, instead of just copy-pasting a rose sprite onto a hat sprite. Some of us care a great deal about fashion (aka me), so this is upsetting to some of us (still me).

It would be so easy to just tuck the rose in the corner of the hat so that only the flower part is showing. So what does Jason do? Copy pastes a rose sprite on top of a hat sprite. The hats are ugly and they look unrealistic.

#183 Re: Main Forum » The Next Generation Of Camera. » 2020-01-03 23:07:20

cameras should print out the pictures. its dumb to keep them online
when you pick up a photo (piece o paper w photo print) it should show it in the middle of your screen in a tab, you can esc key to close it.
hecc, we could make photo albums. connect the young to the old. cmon, Jason.

True.
SIDs are just a lil thin - gotta be fed stew by their gram grams.

Also

Family tombs (flat rock + cut stones)! Hide 3-4 bones in a tomb. After some time it can be re-used. Baby bones should be smaller (as a sprite) and takes only 1/4 of space in a tomb.

Bump it up to eight bones.    I like large families.   smile

That would be a crowded tomb xD

#188 Re: Main Forum » If you had a monument like Tarr what would it look like and do? » 2020-01-01 15:50:09

A face doing the hubba hubba eyebrows that shouts suggestive phrases at you such as "u fine boi" when you come within a few tiles of it.

What is the current iron usage for shoveling?   I would like it very much if either digging graves was essentially free ... or if we had an alternative way to dispose of random corpse clutter, like making a giant pyre or digging a deep hole to stuff full of bone baskets in a crowded pauper's grave or even a fancy mausoleum option for the rich folks.    Anything would be better than the current "fields of skulls" meta, imo.

Ideally, I want a fast, cheap, and space efficient option for removing bones that nobody cares about enough to bury properly.

Yep ^^

Sounds interesting.  But does this apply to bone piles or dug graves only?

preferably both, since I like not having to make five shovels in 1 minute

That way it connects people to their great or great-great grandparents, whereas no one is gonna care if there are bones of great great great granny in the middle of the town if all they do is sit there. Also last words have more meaning.

How about.. you guys stop being assholes for one minute and wish Jason happy holidays. Jason is doing his best and I seriously doubt you could do better.

I like to be in someone else's shoes, just for an hour, and get totally immersed in it.
I might play a sage one life, a drunk the next. Every life is me getting to start from scratch, play a different role. I love most lives and I remember almost all of them.

For those of you who don't know, Sakura X Ni is a show that streams whenever I come across a town with a radio. I doubt anyone knows of it. It's a poorly done Chinese soap opera, which is a hilarious concept to me for some reason big_smile

*Our story begins around Christmas time. Sakura is eight months pregnant with Ni's baby, and Ni doesn't want to be a father. *
