Did the famous West decide to choose a different direction for a change or do they have a new competitor?
I was in generation 4 of the South Family, My mother creatively named me Boy. The town wasn't too bad, We already had a good farm going and almost all the tools. My mother gave me the vague task of helping with the farm, I spent my early life maintaining the berry farm and extending it. I'm glad I did because it helped with the population explosion later on.
While I was working, I noticed my poor baby brother spamming F. My mother was too old to feed but she was still picking him up, He got all the way up to spamming FFF by the time I fed him a berry. I raised him as my own until he was able to sustain himself, Later on, I had moments where I wished I had let him die but I still loved him.
At first, he followed me around wishing to learn some things. But all I was doing at the time was watering and extending the berry farm so he soon lost interest in me. He got annoyed at me when I started making stew, He wanted me to let him do it so I left it alone.
I got annoyed with him when he used the soil I had collected for the berry farm and put it all in the farm above. I told him "Why did you take my soil" and he started spurting some communist crap like "This is OUR soil" and "OUR farm". Sorry brother But you don't just take the soil that I went out and collected myself, I literally went to get a hoe to till it and you just moved it. Besides more berries were doing the town some good.
An Eve appeared in our town and asked if she could stay. Of course, we said yes since new bloodlines let us get around lineage ban. But the new Eve soon started our own family and more babies started popping out. Good thing the berry farm was able to sustain the toddler army that would come.
Around this time I also started making more batches of stew. My brother was once again frustrated that I'd taken the squash out of the soil before I "needed" it, He didn't seem to buy my explanation of preparing all the ingredients to make multiple stews at once. I made some more pots and started a few small fires, hopefully, that would help future adults stay fed and not have to eat so many berries.
At some point, I mentioned allowed "why'd I have to get such a lame name" my brother heard and told me he was the favored child. He'd also claimed in the past that I didn't save him and I owed him nothing, Sorry but I had one brother and you definitely weren't favored anymore then I was.
When I was old I told him that I still loved him even if He was a dick. My first words were "Goodbye fuckers", I heard him say "Oh and I'm the dick" "tsk tsk" I didn't have time to respond before dying of old age. Not gonna lie but It bought me some pleasure when I saw him starve less than a minute after I died. No hard feelings brother.
I finished a life in that family as Rose West about twenty minutes ago.
At first, everyone was nice. After you died, there was a lot of murder and I was targeted a lot. At least I managed to complete my life goal of dying my shirt at age 60. It took so long because of all the chaos...
Be glad you were born and died when you did. It all went downhill after. I saw you a couple of times. You seemed nice.
Too bad your daughter went on to be a murderer.
Hi Ancestor. I was Isabella Coco, Gen 7, You were my Great Great Grandmother. I made many batches of stew to feed the masses but we had a soil crisis in my time, we were in desperate need of compost. I raised 3 kids who did well besides Jake who suicided, My daughter built the sheep pen but she got snaked before she could get any sheep in it. I didn't see my Son much but he said Q as a baby and lived to 58, He's probably around here somewhere.
Unfortunately, my grandkids didn't last long at all.
I thought I should explain my last words just in case you were confused. When I was really old I located my sister who was a fellow old hag, We talked about our lives for a bit and decided to go to the graveyard and die together. We were joined by third old women, Sammy I think. We were all due to die in minutes and I asked "I wonder who will die first" but I soon realized I only had four squares left so I claimed my victory before turning to bones.
People that sponge food should look like this.
What, You didn't even include humans....
I think we'd take 1st place for killing ourselves. Snakes and Wolves don't actually chase us but we often cross paths with them and die. Humans are also responsible for all bears in the world. Not to mention the occasional murder spree as well as incompetence killing off villages.
Beans seem like a good choice early on but you'll need a lot of bowls. The crock is made by combining two wet clay bowls, The stew seems good but it takes a lot to make.
Once it's cooked you get a bunch of bowls worth of the stuff and each bowl has two bites.

My ancestors had revitalized an old city and it was going well so far. I was born to my mother while she was doing a water run, My birth had interrupted her work but she didn't seem to mind too much. She carried me back into town and put me by a fire, she fed me one last time and went back to finish her task.
I was named Ben and I received a sheepskin, pair of shoes, and a backpack from the elders. The population was quite low for such a large town but at least we had lots of food. I spent my childhood exploring and helping with farms, When I was grown up an old man approached me.
He was the town shepherd but he was getting old and needed a replacement. He gave me his blue hat and a snakeskin boot. Apparently I also now owned the building next to the sheep pen but I never used it. I started my new job by cleaning up the sheep pen a bit, there was bones, shit and dead lamb everywhere. Once I had tidied up I started feeding the sheep.
The old man from before had reincarnated as a little girl named Gabrial Gbur, apparently, an Eve was in town. She told me that her mum was murdered. When she leaves another dude approaches me and takes my cart of sheep food, I tell him I still needed it and that he could have it later. But he pulls a knife out and tries to chase me.
He managed to piss off most of the town, My nameless nephew, Gabrial and me were all after him. He saw him a few times but he ran off.
The "griefers" name was Kitt, We hunted him for years but we later found that he starved. He didn't even do much damage, He only managed to kill like 1 58-year-old women.
I'm fairly certain my bloodline died out so the city belongs to the Gbur family now. Best of luck to them
Just a tip, Don't have your camp near a bear cave. Especially if you plan on letting babies die.
A lot of it is also misunderstandings. Two people might have a feud, It escalates to the point where they want to kill each other. Person 1 kills Person 2 but then Person 1 get's killed by Person 3 for killing person 2 but Person 4 mistakes person 3 for the murderer and kills him too, You get the idea?
We use the Wild West justice system to deal with disputes and the only way to really punish someone is murder.
Ah, my great Niece, I was Jane Stone (The old one). I remember nursing your mother for a time, My sister was preoccupied with something else but it seems she died not long after.
I may have tried to hook her up with my son Tom but nothing was there. None of my own kids lasted that long besides Tom, Sounds like my greatdaughter Daisy at least made a name for herself.
Yeah, I was Cindi and I kept my promise. I tried my best but my daughters both died, one suicided and one starved. I made some steel tools but iron was too scarce to make much, I also made a BP.
I kept one son and he seemed decent so I entrusted him with the BP but he sadly stepped on a snake, Least I recovered the backpack.
You called me dumb but I outlived all my siblings by far, btw the temp on the desert was basically the same as the fire.
Anyway, I located your body and gave you and my son proper graves before I died.
Right, If someone ever tries to marry me on omegle I'll know it's you.

Mum was somewhat decent. She knew enough to put me on a good tile and to feed me at the right times but she didn't name herself in time, Non of us got last names.I did most of the work, She mostly just raised kids while I made everything for her. All my family mysteriously died, My little brother tried to hunt rabbits but I found his bones halfway to rabbit spot. My mother and sisters all died beside one, My surviving sister replaced my mother as the resident baby factory.
My nephew Phineas was the most useful out of everyone, I hoped that he would finish making the steel tools after I died. My sister only had 1 daughter who died at 6 years, Soon after my sister died too and Phineas seemingly gave up.
In the end I was the last person alive, I died of old age hoping that another Eve would spawn. Why does the last girl always turn out to be a noob.
Hi Pius!
'm sad that I picked such a mediocre spot to give birth to you, but as soon as you left my arms as a little boy and grabbed a basket, I knew you had great things ahead. I was so happy to find out that you had started a berry farm, and that you lived a long life. Sadly, the same cannot be said of your sisters.
I spent most of my life bringing rope to the settlement so that we could continue living. The snare story is truly saddening. Overall, I can just say that I was very proud of you.
Did you keep expanding the berry farm? Or did you transition into other food sources?
Love you,
Mom.
I mean the plan was to extend it as the population grew, Someone did try to grow corn but they didn't get far. They had the audacity to suggest growing carrots but I told them it was a bad idea, I said that corn was acceptable but it never really got the chance to get going.
Imo Berries are the way to go atm since they don't continuously use up the soil and they keep producing food as long as you water them.

Baker wrote:You're a legend, I was Mike I spent most of the life I had in that berry farm. Alot of the children never watered so I tried to teach them, A lot of them didn't realize they needed the bucket to use the well. I saw them trying to fill a bowl from the well and when I told them to use a bucket they tried watering with the bucket.
Anyway, when he started killing everyone I ran off but I quickly realized I couldn't do much if he killed all the women. So I ran back into town and saw a young girl, I tried to tell her to run but he stabbed me. Were you by any chance that girl I saw, I'm glad you got away and repopulated the town.
Yes I was the girl! I was hanging around because I'd seen a body, but hadn't seen what happened and wasn't sure if the murderer was still around. When you showed up and told me to run I knew it was serious and took off-it really saved my bacon as I think he appeared right after that.
Thanks for teaching me about the deepwells- I wasn't sure how the deepwells/bucket thing worked after the new update so it was a great help. When arrived back I spent most of my time tending to the berry farm in your honor and it was the first lesson I taught some of the new players in my school (although unfortunately some of the deep wells had dried up then, but atleast they should know to always water the berrys now
)
I'm glad my efforts weren't in vain, Now he looks pretty dumb gloating about destroying the town. It's nice that my knowledge was passed down to the next generations.
You're a legend, I was your uncle!. I'm glad you survived, Too bad he got me too in the end.
Let this thread die like an eves baby.
Yep, They are legitimate ruins. They weren't generated, People once lived in them towns long ago. If you have built a homemaker and you die of old age then there is a chance that an Eve will spawn near where you die.
Vengeful infants will do it to get back to mothers who abandon them or they just did for shits and giggles.
There is a little trick for dealing with bears, They can't get you if your standing on an occupied tile. If you ever try to hunt bear you should just stand on a rock or something and shoot it from there. Besides that the only other way to deal with them is to lure them away but that only works for so long.
Well I tried, Cities like that tend to attract lots of griefers and sponges. There was a lot of women just standing around having babies.
People on discord tried to do a purge soon after I died, They all think like Thanos.

You asked me if you knew me, Here I am. I was born into your other bloodline but my mother only fed me a few times before focusing on smithing and letting me die. I was reborn to the second family and I feared being abandoned again so I resorted to using "Q".
The city was quite chaotic and overpopulated, I tried to help with sheep until someone messed it up and the sheep escaped. I had a son Dave who stuck around for a minute then DC'd, He told before that he wanted to live so I dunno what happened. I honestly left a lot of babies to die because everyone else was shitting out babies 24/7. I had a couple daughters just keep your bloodline going.
The farm was running low on seeds, A dude came with a basket of seeds and said there was a lot more. I offered to go there with a cart and he showed me the way, sadly he starved on the way. I picked up some seeds and went back to town, hopefully, it helped but I think starving kids ate most of it up.
West, I just wanna know how you keep spawning in the same towns. You spawned twice in another town too, how lucky are you!.
Baker wrote:West wrote:Well yeah, that was really lucky. Maybe it was because of the Bell, but I dont know.

In all my lives I've rarely spawned in a town as an Eve, Having an Eve spawn in a town is really useful tho. Having multiple bloodlines in one town means we can get around the lineage ban and be reborn in the same place more often.
I was in that town, I wonder what the "warning" sign was about.
Since i mostly play as Eve or in my bloodlines, I have spawned in a few towns, it is rare but not super rare.
For that respawn reason the original family, I think it was "Queen", allowed me to stay.Maybe that sign was there because of the aunt that was buried behind it. Maybe she wanted to come back as a zombie lol
Spent 2 lives in that town, one of them was very short lived. http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … &id=147370
It may look bad but I killed a guy only out of self-defense. I was warned about an old man with a bow running around the place, I saw the old man in question standing with his bow. He tried to shoot me but he missed and I stabbed him, Sadly he convinced someone else that I was the murderer and I got killed.

In this life the town got griefed, we lost all our sheep and bears killed most of us.....
Yeah, Towns should be grateful that you frequently massacre them for the lols. A totally sound argument, I don't have a clue why anyone would disagree.
Well yeah, that was really lucky. Maybe it was because of the Bell, but I dont know.

It's a good way to preserve a family line since big cities will eventually fall. Cities also seem to have a lot more griefers and murders along with food sponges.
