I was the old lady who witnessed it all. Your adopted brother with his pet goose Jeff was my son. She got half the town to curse a girl because apparently the girl was “trying to kill her for no reason.”

I knew from the start that she would be a griefer because I’d met her before. Same child. Would run up to nearest king or queen and proclaim them as parent to get their crown in the future. Once got crown, begun to kill and grief. It’d happened to me before and I’d seen it three times on others, every time the same thing happened.

But no one listened when I claimed she was going to grief.

I died to a wild boar at 58, after the murder of Shepard, after I adopted Coco and before the other murders took place. Shame.

#227 Re: Main Forum » BELL TOWER HELP! » 2018-07-28 23:26:32

Ringing the bell tower sets the home marker for everyone who is lacking one, to the bell tower’s spot. It can be used to “call” Eves if a town is in need of females, and a lot of people go for bell towers since it promises a huge town ahead.

Two words.

Reborn. Revenge.

#229 Re: Main Forum » Let's Not Meet - Opposite of Missed Connections: » 2018-07-28 17:20:56

I was trying to kill the boar that was taunting the town.

An entitled bitch spread rumors about me. She had full clothes and a pack in the middle of the desert, the rest of us were naked. She was a sponge, too. She got her clothes from rabbit fur that I hunted.

She wouldn’t feed me while I was trying to hunt. So I had to set my bow down. She stole it and shot me, spreading rumors around that I was a “griefer” and “tried to kill her” and a “useless sponge male” and all this crap.

And they started calling me some of the most offensive slanderous names I’ve ever heard in my life. Like, Jesus Christ, this lady and her minions must have been professional cyber bullies or something, because seriously, they seemed like trained professionals. I’m guessing they were a group of IRL friends griefing and bullying their way through the game.

“Name one person I killed,” I told her before I died, no one had bothered to listen to me. Even my mom was laughing and calling me a noob.

Saw they all got killed by the boar though. That makes me happy. Karma, assholes. I hope I never see them again.

This was about two weeks ago, so I don’t remember their names. I know our Eve didn’t name herself though, so we had no surname. My mother’s name was Kim. I was Nameless as she tried to abandon me.

Hate lives like these. sad

Especially females entitled to “maternity leaves” and people who complain but don’t fix the problem, like you mentioned in your story.

#231 Re: Main Forum » My beloved Jason! Get rid of omelet items. » 2018-07-26 17:41:38

You should be able to remove a hot flat rock from a fire. I’ve seen a lot of successful griefs in big towns by putting a hot rock over the only fire...

#232 Re: Main Forum » This Really Shouldn't be a Thing » 2018-07-26 00:09:51

It should be necessary to have at least one female kid as an Eve... or at least one kid. So many eve runs having no children at all...

#233 Re: Main Forum » Is 'One Hour One Life' worth it? » 2018-07-25 15:33:43

1.) Since it is a fairly new online game, there are a few bugs that need to be squashed. But the developer Jason has weekly updates and has taken care of the majority of the glitches. There is a bit of a lag issue, as stated by Alleria, but it should be taken care of soon.
2.) The apocalypse was turned off at the end of April and hasn’t been available dense. Monoliths are still around the world, but unusable and more as decor and a tribute to that dark time.
3.) There are no hackers or exploiters. Just annoying griefers, like every game has.

I recommend buying it. I play for 5-8 hours a day and I never get bored. It’s a great experience!

If I ever see you IG, I’ll try to teach you.

maybe you deserve it trying to curse newborn babies

Lmao. I’ve run into this guy a lot. I’m named, then Mom (usually Eve) curses me and suicides after. It’s a waste of a curse token...

Hmmmm... were you Emerald in that town in a previous life?

#238 Re: Main Forum » people really need to relax geez » 2018-07-23 05:39:59

This has happened to me before. It's annoying. Don't assume people with weapons are griefing. Someone with a knife out? They could be butchering sheep. Or passing it down to the next generation. Or killing the snake that's been haunting the village for three generations. You know what they say about assume, folks. It makes an ass out of "u" and "me."

Did you have a taco party first? And did you have an old uncle who kept complaining about his bits dangling out of his coat, but he still refused to take my pants?

Yes. So it is you?

You’ll find something amazing. At first, you won’t understand. But upon closer inspection, you will know.

I don’t want to spoil the surprise. wink

Hey! Welcome to OHOL, I’ll try to teach you if we ever meet in game.

A few things that might help in the early days:
1. Always pick fruiting milkweed, that way you can get seeds.
2. Always pick cacti fruits, they despawn if not picked for a while and are a GREAT food.
3. Only snare rabbit family holes, otherwise rabbits won’t respawn there.
4. As an Eve, best spot is in a desert near grasslands and swamp.
5. Be careful when handling weapons, right-clicking kills.

I’ve only accidentally killed once. Learned my lesson after that...

Mine was horrible.

I was hunting geese for food as a last result, this was long ago when this was actually acceptable.

I went to set down my bow, and didn’t realize that clicking under a person, e.g. on the tile you want to put it down on, will kill them. I watched helplessly in shock as the arrow pierced a teenager’s chest. I was the second one in the village to accidentally kill someone.

I told her it was an accident and that I was sorry. She wouldn’t have it, and called me a liar, a bunch of racist slander and curse words, and died saying “bitch” as her last words. What a way to go.

Everyone believed me when I diffused the situation. They knew I was hardworking, so they didn’t kill me. But I still felt bad and died of guilt a few minutes later.

That was my first kill. What was yours?

Thanks, I wasn't lonely, 'cause I was busy.  I wanted to make my first apron.  And I thought that I need two sweaters for that, so it took me a while.  Turns out I mixed it up with instructions for making chief's hat wink

Glad to hear it. Did you see anyone at all during your years alone in the town?

Hi Mama, welcome to the forums. big_smile

I’m sorry to hear you died soon after me. I loved you until the end. You were an amazing mother.

I wonder what happened to Knife Boy after we died and left him alone...
