#326 Re: Main Forum » Has a player hacked the main server? » 2018-08-25 08:49:53

I have seen this type of griever rather often. He definitely outruns everyone without any extra tools or roads. This has caused many promising towns to fall when people were trying to get rid of this person making fun of people's misery. I think this sort of bug or glitch benefitting should be punishable.

I accidentally said "There is a bear!" when i had ax picked up. God knows how many heart attacks people had.

#328 Re: Main Forum » Moving Ponds + Attraction to Roads? » 2018-08-25 08:17:52

So griefers can literally spam ice holes by poking penguins? That sounds like a nightmare! I bet those types of grievers would be considered "pokequins" instead.

#329 Re: Main Forum » Using Paper for killing » 2018-08-25 07:56:37

I think Rohrer should edit the paper that the paper user clicks itself to say what it says in the paper. It's annoying to listen to the spam of the paper when people move them around.

#330 Re: Main Forum » My first sucesfull Eve camp turns into a dinasty » 2018-08-25 07:53:49

It requires luck to find a good camping spot with a warm spot. I sometimes end up in villages with people who haven't decided to get any warm spots and often have camp in middle of forest or swamp. I remember having a moment in life when my actual camp was thriving. Sad thing was that the server was going to reset and ppl weren't spawning on my only daughter.

#331 Re: Main Forum » Eve only or disable eve spawn » 2018-08-09 21:42:00

To be frank, that would sound like a good idea. It would also give new players a choice to not make people upset by being noob and not being serious of trying to make a proper base (or naming the family... been there done that too.). Although if griefer was trying to become eve and is ended up in a ready village instead.... why not just go suicide? Shouldn't take long time until you pop as eve instead.

#332 Re: Main Forum » Reaching Big Bell Town Impossible » 2018-08-09 21:34:15

I was born in some family that was setting up a camp temporarily at 1,4k distance or such. They were suggesting their kids to run towards the bell since there were way too many of them popping up. We tried to keep a decent camp for few people to be able to sustain a small lifestyle. Not sure if those kids who ran there ever managed to get there alive. But I have never really even thought of trying to run towards bell. More fun to do stuff for evolving camp than running endlessly toward something you probably never see. (no matter how much I miss that bell city I was helping build too.)

#333 Main Forum » Mister Moist's most depressing adventure. » 2018-08-09 21:25:40

Mister Moist was born in the most strangest family line ever possible. His mother, Amelie told him about a murder incident,
and brought him right to his older brother's bloody grave, saying "Look at the red blood. Look at it!". From early age, Mister
Moist got traumatized of seeing such horrid scene and still be given a choice to life (and I quote from Amelie: let's give you
drugs so your brains will cleanse from this trauma), ignoring the fact that his mom is unusual. He was especially mad inside
his small world, that people stole his carrot all the time when they were meant to produce seeds.  His life was included with
sexual references, incestive marriage proposals and all sorts of weird talks up until he grew up into a young adult.

When the carrots grew up, he finally managed to constribute to the generation by composting right to the south of huge
berryfarm. He managed to put few compost piles, but after a while he was worried of wheat stocks and a missing steel hoe,
so he turned his way to blacksmiths to ask a favor for the farm. After a while a steel hoe was made. He managed to make a
decent stock of wheat plants and couple of carrotfields right south from the wheats. The cook nearby who was making pies
was also glad. It was all peaceful and harmonious, until the griefer nation attacked!

The cursed one, Colin brought in chaos to the village. He freed the sheeps from their pens with his mighty shovel. Mister
ran by there to find cart for bringing mutton and he saw him. Not even a second and he went to find guards... but only too
late. Mister and the guards arrived to the mischevious scene, where all sheeps were freed. In panic we couldn't think of
rebuilding the pen quickly. Sheeps would escape from it for sure. Without Colin in sight, they went back to berryfield to think
of a solution. Not for long until one of the guards spotted him near the berry fields and she tried to shoot him with her
arrow, but Colin had other thoughts. He began lageporting around like crazy. Her left confused was unable to shoot him due
her internet issues. Mister was getting way too old for this sad ending. He found second arrow far hidden, and decided to
take this last arrow far away from the village, so the last arrow would be only on guard's hand. He ran far to the snowy
fields and collapsed with all the precious weaponry items he had, hoping to keep the cursed one away from the weapon
items.

Personally... Amelie... I am not interested in your bush...

#334 Re: Main Forum » Bow or knife? » 2018-08-09 16:11:14

I am interested in what purpose you intend this to? For player killing or tech purposes? Also bow looks ugly. Knives in this game look like glamorous Bon Jovi in youth. Multiuse, cut, mash, kill cattles or people, and just to look more "cool" person for those who you don't stick that pretty knife into. Bows though still hold their part in hunting wildlife and obtaining their babies to become one of the most important resourceroots.
In manner of player killing and/or protecting the city, knife is likely better for protecting the city from villains. Bow is better for taking care of wild animals so to say. Moving target is offside for bow and it can be pretty clumsy to try to deal with someone bow vs. knife, though that is for someone else who is more experienced with these. Although bow can attack moving target. With knives killers need to pretty much dance around to stay protected. yikes

Regarding fur bag and clothing. It highly depends if you are able to travel far, or have considerably lot of rabbits for at least 2 bags made. I find myself rather furstrated when I see rabbit furs gone especially in pre-eve times, when you need to get people more inventory to use for more efficient camp building, and I see those fancy rabbit furs shining in someone's head or pants. Perhaps add in "Do not touch the furs you did not gather, unless there is enough fur to make a bag. Leave bag behind if the hunter is still without any bag him/herself." and "do not cook rabbits as it is, unless really hungry, cook only few you need in dire."
Also, I wonder who was that child who wanted to be called Kratos, but I ended up naming Ophelia since it was a girl character? I hope that one doesn't mind me. I enjoy making fun of people sometimes when bored.

Oh yeah... and really big NOTE! Never, ever, ever snare lone rabbits! You only stab yourself with a needle the moment you stick that snare in there.

I think I was that one who gave birth to that knife child. I tried to get him far away from homebase, but it managed to get back and some granny was feeding him. He was spelling some "k-i-l-l" and I thought like "Nope.. go go go bbye." But in the end the quarrel began and I was trying to repent for it by keeping the arrow in bag and the bow near. Eventually someone hid those behind the tree, or that is what I hoped was done.
