Here's my latest female life
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=3749131
6.43421052632 + 15.0625 + 19.6666666... = clan longevity = approx. 41.163377126 = approx 41
41 + (idk what you mean by this number)
So, my score is around 41

See the queens in crimson wool
And the boys in fur and hat
A wealthy man is always full
The tailor sleeps, plump as a cat

We walked upon the desert sands
Carefree in nudeness, picking fruit
What Jason crafted with his hands
He seeks to cover, coat and boot

My child, the word is modesty
For he would rather see us dressed
Then abandon civil things
Retreat to naked casualty

If she makes clothes she will be snug
And so less food she will consume
Or be confined upon a rug
In a well insulated room

Listen child, the queen's mistake
Is in the crown upon her head
She may say "Let them eat cake"
But soon she'll freeze and drop down dead

Take a message from the hare
His furs will keep him warm
And since he is not cold and bare
He'll never come to harm

See the wolves a-trotting by
And see that they are fit and strong
If you harvest their fine fur
Then you, too, will prosper long

My dear child, take a cart and snare
And hurry to the yellow-gold
Borrow from the timid hare
And you will not be cold

Forgive me... I'm actually here to ask if someone has the decay time for tinder / leaves. It's kind of annoying to have to travel to get branches for kindling, then come back to find out that your leaf and tinder has despawned, so you have to travel again to get those.

This is to clarify what Aurora was given timeouts for in the two months prior to her being banned. Please keep in mind all of these timeouts were preceded with (sometimes multiple) warnings either in public chat or through private messages. Please be advised the list contains explicit sexual content.

Trying to ask why one was given a timeout or trying to argue about receiving a timeout in #general is considered questioning moderator actions and is against the rules. It is not against the rules to question the timeout in #off-topic or #the-street. Timeouts can be given without needing a vote, all mod actions are shared with other mods who review them. So who specifically was giving the timeouts is irrelevant since the mod team acts as a unit. With banning, discussion always happens first.

November 11, 2018
1. Given a timeout for a frivolous argument.
2. Given a timeout for questioning moderator actions in #general.

November 6, 2018
3. Given a timeout for announcing she was going to go masturbate after being warned to stop talking about sex in #general.

November 8, 2018
4. Given a timeout for excessive all caps spam.

November 10, 2018
5. Given a timeout for hate speech against Steam users, insulting other discord users, and talking about porn.

November 15, 2018
6. Given a timeout for posting a picture of a OHOL character posing in a heil salute despite warning. Aurora has tried to argue saying that the character is only waving despite admitting she likes the picture more if she viewed the pose as a heil salute.

November 27, 2018
7. Given a timeout for not moving an off topic conversation out of #general.

November 28, 2018
8. Given a timeout for saying that I(Stylin) only became moderator by giving Joriom a blowjob.
9. Given a timeout for questioning moderator actions.

December 7, 2018
10. Given a timeout for trying to incite an argument and anti-mod sentiment in #general after being privately asked to behave more nicely (not an official warning).
--Officially warned about being banned if she did not stop misbehaving.

January 16, 2019
11. Given a timeout for inciting an argument about being given a private server and saying "fuck you" to another user.
--Moderators voted on banning Aurora and the vote passed.

That is 11 timeouts given within two months time. The reason there were so few timeouts in December and January was because Aurora was not very active during those months. We currently will not consider unbanning Aurora since she does not want to take responsibility for her actions and reflect on why she was banned. We do not enjoy removing active users from our community but we agreed that Aurora was a recidivist and displayed no remorse or improvements after timeouts and efforts to talk to her and better her behavior.

XD oh aurora
If I had a discord, I'd be banned too big_smile

After reading this I definitely want an update with:
-Jewelry
-Maybe makeup derived from blue + red pigments
-Cutting hair / beards
-Silk clothes
Because, let's face it: We need to establish a hierarchy, and crowns aren't cutting it any more. There aren't just kings and peasants, there are also the noble lords and ladies who don jewelry, makeup, silk clothes and elaborately styled hair. +1 to this whole topic!
(Also, unrelated to the history, I think this is a good idea for rp reasons)

Infertility comes from short-run declines in player population (i.e. people logging off for the night), not long-run declines (i.e. fewer people playing this week than last week). Maybe what you're seeing is because of the temperature changes. If you're not keeping as warm as other people, you'll see a big drop in your own birth rate.

I've been keeping medium / close to medium temperature, and sustaining yum of around 5x - 10x. I usually play around three, four o' clock pm (central time)

To give one example: the Duponts
The Duponts were picked randomly - Eleonor Dupont was the first old lady I found on the recently deceased elders list.
The women are living to old age and are feeding all their children, but it is still hard to continue the line.. at every generation there's a risk that no female babies... heck, no babies at all, will be born. And of those only a small portion survive to old age. A town *should* be able to survive if it has enough food and few murders. So what's going on?

Every Life I have around 1-3 kids, 4 maximum, sometimes I have none. This is way fewer than what it used to be, and towns are dying left and right because there just aren't enough girls being born. This is a serious problem if we want to sustain kids.

Sir, You are under arrest for stealing/moving shit.

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to your mother for advice before we ask you any questions. You have the right to have your mother with you during questioning. If your mother is dead, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer questions now without your mother present, you have the right to stop answering at any time.

Yeah, that's the idea.. a frozen person would be noticeable, maybe people would bring him before court, all he could do is talk, they would decide to kill him or starve him or let him live.

There's nothing wrong with compromise, people should be encouraged to compromise. The problem is when the person on the other end refuses to be civil.. like maybe they've got something of yours and refuse to give it back.. if you freeze them they'll drop it. Or, if you don't want villagers to see blood, you could freeze them and then convince people to let them starve.

Got sent to donkeytown for the second time now. From four curses. Was in a town with sheep. Noticed someone shear the last sheep. Went up to them and told them not to. They very clearly saw it since they stood still while I was typing, but they didnt respond. I fed the sheep so we could have lamb again, and that person went up again and sheared the last sheep. I had already warned them not to do it, so I stabbed them. They cursed me and went into town and told people to curse me since I "was griefer". One person cursed me and then chased me with knife even though I explained myself. I literally spent about 40 seconds just typing that she was bad for town and for him to stop, he didn't, he kept trying to stab. Decided I had given him enough chances so I stabbed him. He runs into town and tells people to curse me again, luckily it ended there. Got sent to donkeytown for it though. Do I really deserve it? Four curses for killing someone who was fucking over town and refusing to stop, and someone who tried to kill me for that. Cursing system is really stupid since people just curse without knowing any context at all. I bet if I had lost the fight with the guy trying to stab me, and I told people to curse him when I had been stabbed, they would have. Right now people just curse whoever has a bloody knife without even asking why, and it's seriously stupid.

Currently there isn't any way to settle domestic arguments other than murder, unless a person is willing to compromise - although compromise is unlikely. We have flirted with the idea in previous posts about jails and shackles.. you could curse the person, but it's unlikely that a curse will do anything.
Maybe we need to tweak the curse system just a little bit more
First off, if we implement this idea, curses should be less frequent, earned over a longer period of time. Here's the idea: If you curse someone it will freeze them. They will drop anything they are holding, and anything in their backpack, and freeze for 5 or 10 minutes of their life. Whether or not they have to be fed, or can talk, or can be killed, I am not sure. It's just a rough idea to try and stop potential griefers / annoyances without murder. It seems a bit far flung, but so does the idea of curses in general..
On the flip side, I want to keep the current curse system. Donkey town is a good idea. So maybe we could have something else, the freeze system. If one person says "Freeze Hope Adams (or insert name)" then it will freeze them for one minute. Two, three minutes. Four for five minutes, five for ten minutes.

so a 4x4 or 3x4 is perfect for a nursery or old people's home?

Oh mah gawd old peoples' homes should totally be a thing! All the oldies could go there and prune bonsai, play with rubber balls. There could be paper and a pen there so that oldies could write stories about their lives... maybe babies could be in the same room so the oldies would have someone to ramble to.. plus, you would only need one room.
Sometimes, people just have the urge to create something, hence buildings. I built a house a bit south from the town once, put a bear rug in the middle of it and planted rosebushes outside. It was nice, until twins locked its door and said they were going to use it to trap people.. should've made a pine door.

By the way, I'm totally making an old people's home.

I saw it with my very own eyes. There was a marked and buried grave, on wood floor.. it spoke and accused someone of robbing it. Another person placed a half eaten pie on the grave - the grave immediately disappeared and the pie became a full pie. Of this I swear I tell no lies, although I wasn't smart enough to get a screenshot.
