Color of your skin tells a lot about your culture and environment in which you live... At least it did thousands years ago, and in the game we live in an old age.

I see nothing wrong in connecting biome specializations to color of your skin. Why everyone sees racism everywhere? Just stop.

I like that every family has it's own home. I didn't like living together with other families... Unless it was very, very rare.

Race specializations aren't that bad either. It makes this game more strategic, which is fun. Except for blonds, they are pretty much useless and therefore I hate playing them.

I mean, race specializations could be implemented a little bit more user friendly - we could enter any biome without droping items, we could pick any common items from any biomes, we just couldn't use specialty items on these biomes. That would be a little bit weird tho, but it would remove the annoyance.

I mean, race specializations are fun, but people aren't skilled enough to have fun with it. And probably never will be :c

Not worth it. As far as I know, game engine allows having quadrillions of animals without any performance issues.

Hover cursor over your character, you will see lady, lord or whatever if your are one.
/Follower is also helpful if there are more than one hierarchies in your fam, you can be lady/lord even if only one person follows you.

Whatever, no family survived 7 days after the food changes. 7 days would be about 400-500 generations I think. That's a lot.

Crumpaloo, points 1, 2 and 3 aren't true since birth distribution mechanic works a bit different. If there is no weak family (very few fertile girls), then a baby has the same chance to be born in any family, no matter how many fertile womans there are. And then when the fam is randomly choosen, a fertile woman with highest yum/temperature within that family will have the highest chance to get that kid.


I think most families die due to people that are just bad at this game (I would say even 95% cases, if not more)... Shame.
Yeah, I blame people and not luck.

Only 64 generations in longest family line last 7 days, other "long" families died at about 45 generation.

These are so noobish scores... Why are people so bad?

We did about 180 generations last month, and now we are nowhere close to that...

Yeah, real fences would work better since they don't decay, but it was my first test try so I didn't want to waste time for something that wouldn't necessarily work. I wanted to see how people react to this and seems it works very good, next time I'll make real fences.

Good idea with rails, Pein. Could make a track cart there instead of tilled rows and store alive piglets there, it would give more clear message to people what are the boars there for. I'm not sure, but I think alive piglets don't die when stored, if it's really the case, pigs breeding would be even easier than from before the update, and also pigs give 5 meats now and not 4 tongue

Carts shouldn't simply get more slow if fully loaded... Today I had to travel 2000 tiles to the nearest brown fam to get latex, would never do this if they were slower :s
Why would you even treat this topic serious and actually suggest a nerf to horses? Don't do this.

Horses are just fine. Don't compare horses to cars, since cars are broken content and not horses.

I made this pig pen, maybe it's not the prettiest one, but it works very nice.
Pick a piglet and put it in main pig pen, then feed it. Finished this pen at about 25 years old, nobody got hurt this life and people didn't seem to be worried about boars.

It's not 100% safe, better don't missclick when you are in there big_smile

Yeah, a new random color Eve spawns if all families are generation 40+.

I would prefer if it didn't happen to be honest since other fams get less people if we have more families. It's risky especially at low population hours.

People should use sheep only to make dung, and everything else should be a byproduct that we get "for free". One sheep gives 5 mutton meat, that means 20 mutton pie yummy bites for 20 people in a perfect scenario.

Just make more yum foods instead of doing the easy mutton pies food in big quantities.

This change is really not big deal.

Loose muddy iron vein is created after making FIRST family's ready well site. This is needed because otherwise you wouldn't have any iron to make a shovel and you couldn't make shallow well.

It's not really that hard to have high gene if you just care for your town. I've been often top 5 without even caring about my gene score.
Even twisted without a zoom mod was top 1 recently.

Yeah, I guess. We don't exceed baby/mom ratio 1.0 anyways, only after server resets.

I think it would be cool to also fairly distribute babies between families, so we could have similar amount of people per family instead of having 20 people in one fam and only 5 in another, which happens pretty often.

No, there is max baby/mom ratio 1.0. That means we can have as many babies as fertile womans before a new Eve spawns.

What if we had equal bb distribution within our own family?
Equal amount of bbs per mom.
That means, if you had a bb then the next bb will go to another fertile woman.

It did lead to fenced towns and mistrust though. If you can't punish a griefer from another family, you have to be darn sure you don't let them in in the first place.

Idk. Tho, lately some families die out due to lack of players. We sometimes have peaks of 25 players on BS2. It's not rare that one fam has half the server population.
I think it would be cool to remove the 5th Eve spawn when all families are late generations. Let us play with 4 families all the time.

Don't nerf horses, sometimes we need to make really big distances, slowing us down would make it only more boring. You can buff horses without cart, I'm fine with it, but I don't think we would have much use of horses without cart anyways.

Yes, being able to curse other families is just stupid and makes the game more boring. I suggested it long time ago but Jason didn't like it. But if we couldn't curse another fam members, we shouldn't also be able to follow them. One leader could kill a whole fam and not even being cursed.

I don't mind that loom clothing doesn't decay. I wouldn't mind if it decayed either. I prefer backpacks decay tho. Yeah, hunting rabbits is annoying now since we need to feed them, but we can now move them using shovels, we could make whole rabbit farms. We could technically bring them from far away into one place.

As for wheelbarrows, I would say 3 large items but pickup age 6 or 7. It would be more realistic.
