I wish everyone who lives to 60 and has a home-marker would respawn at that home-marker.
Watched a video of ratter dogs. Never seen so many mammals die in such a short period of time. Fertilized the farm field.

OMG that's awesome!
clay bowl + kraut board (renamed: mandolin slicer) = bowl with mandolin slicer + raw potato = bowl with raw french fries
raw pork + flat rock = flat rock with raw pork + knife = flat rock with raw bacon + hot coals = flat rock with cooked bacon + empty hands = flat rock with bacon grease + bowl with raw french fries = flat rock with raw french fries + hot coals = flat rock with cooked french fries + bowl of salt = bowl of salted french fries.
You may or may not want to leave in the last step with salt.
EDIT: Salt should always give a yum! bonus regardless of chaining.
Repost the link? It doesn't work ![]()
EDIT: nevermind, if I hit "quote" the whole like shows up there...

So cute! I want one ![]()
The game really does need more incentive for buildings, but not temperature, and not requiring a building just to build a thing. It needs to be the case that higher tier tech than we have now needs protection from the elements to survive. So you drill presses, table saws, and other machinery need an enclosure or they rust into lumps of steel (which can be recycled). They'd just check every minute or something, to make sure they are in an enclosure. If they aren't they accumulate an 'exposure' point. Once they've accumulated, say, 20 exposure points, they're rusted solid. The long exposure time is to allow people to rebuild griefed walls and doors before damage occurs. But still well within a person's life. I cannot possibly be that hard to check for enclosure once in awhile. Obviously there will be a limit of range that can be checked, which will limit building size, but they should be able to be plenty large enough to use.
Also the game needs tables which can hold four items on top, and shelves which can also store numerous items. But, being nice carpentry, they will decay if exposed for too long. This would incentivize players to start cooking inside, or at least have mess halls, while reducing clutter. You'd start having buildings that are more than just warehouses.
Yes, I had suggested this before. That buildings should prevent decay.
EDIT: And you're absolutely right that we need more recycling. Broken stone tools should at least be useable as kindling. Dead lambs/calves/piglets should be dog food...

Idea: Drag a rock along the ground to make a path, use a shovel or a tool to remove unwanted paths.
that great idea, but i feel it should be the lasso, not the rope...
we need more uses for the lasso, like bringing back lost sheep and cows
Yes, something to make a simple dirt path would be lovely! And a rake for removing it... or spreading gravel to make it a bit better.
Question, can flat-stone-roads be dug up? Because I see a lot of roads to iron mines which are quickly emptied and then there's a useless road and no more flat rocks.
+1 that lassos need to be more useful on all large animals (horses, sheep, pigs, cows, dogs) and rope for smaller ones (lambs, piglets, calfs, puppies)
Tree farming needs to happen!
Ocean is certainly something that could be a biome type. There could be coconut palms that grow near there with leaves for weaving... and Rattan.
Regarding the forge, we get to the iron age quickly because we already know about it.
Sure it took longer to discover it, but building a forge when you know you want to build one doesn't take an entire lifetime.
Perhaps you could slow down forge building by requiring bricks, which in themselves are useful for building all sorts of things.
We would then need deeper clay resources where brick-works are built...

I propose hazelnuts ... and chocolate.
If you add both nutella is required
Also you can eat acorns after leeching them in water...
I was hoping for nutella ![]()
Acorns are a great idea! I'd like to see squirrels be a cute pest you have to scare off or they eat your crop.
Some consider the chestnut the most useful tree in the world:

Others say it's the Moringa, AKA: Drumstick tree:

Your dog overload prayers have been answered.
Puppies now require feeding to grow up. All dogs get old and eventually die. Each dog can only have one litter before getting old.
Pit bulls are no longer always aggressive.
The curse-note exploit has been blocked. Reading notes no longer has any effect, besides simply speaking the contents of the note.

Dealing with dog overload. Puppies need to be fed to grow up. All dogs get old and die eventually. Pit bulls are not automatically mean. They can be abused to become mean, or become mean randomly (so your mild-mannered friend, the one who would never do that, can turn on you at some point, mirroring real life). After you are killed by your own dog, your surviving friends and relatives can mount a Save Mickey campaign, just like in real life. Poor dog! He didn't mean it!
How long do dogs live?
Do they still eat mutton?
What kind of abuse makes pitbulls mean?
Can all dogs become mean?
Are semi-tame wolves still unkillable?
Can wolves have more than one set of puppies?
Nuts.
Nuts are far more nutritious than berries.
I propose hazelnuts ... and chocolate. ![]()
The blue hair is awesome.
I love colorful hair ![]()
Having the "Eve respawns at her homemarker if she dies at 60" thing apply to everyone.
Jason could simply make the respawn button move each time you die...
2x ZOOM as STANDARD!
Bacon
Burgers
Cheese
Yogurt
Dogs eat carnitas
Dogs can be picked up
More dog breeds (Husky hunts penguin and seals)
Fishable ice holes
Cheetah and cats for kitty lovers
Cats eat fish
Cradleboards
Chairs (saves energy)
Tables (adds yum bonus if food on it eaten while sitting in chair)
Beds (stops energy decay while in use)
Tomatoes
Salad
Pizza
Meatballs
Pasta
Dog cart (actually follows you unlike that damn horse)
Please do a mini-update and make all dogs killable!
I look forward to all their herding and hunting and watchdog abilities later, but for now please just let us be able to cull them.
boggers wrote:I understand Jason not wanting to make it part of the main game, popping at screen edges can't be in the default client even if it isn't a big deal.
But the game really is terrible without it once you're used to it.
A nice compromise would be for Jason to expose a few more variables in ini files to allow anyone to modify it easily in a notepad without having to first install a linux VM and compile it themselves.
That way, once you've modded game files you are "officially unsupported" so popping becomes acceptable.

Poor Eve Tarr...
I did a little research on the breeds, and each breed has something they're good at:
Airedale - herd cattle
Beagle - hunt rabbit
Chihuahua - watchdog, murder alert
Collie - sheep herd
Dachshund - hunt rabbit
German Shepard - sheep herd
Pitbull - aggro to other dogs & people, when tame herd cattle (Jason said he would tweak pitbulls and make them tamable)
Poodle - water dogs, hunt geese
Schnauzer - watchdog, murder alert
So it seems there's two of each working type: Sheep Herd, Cattle Herd, Rabbit Hunter, Watchdog, and one Water/Bird dog.
It would be nice to also have domestic rabbits so that the "rabbit hunting" dogs could herd the tame ones.
Same with the poodle, have it herd domestic geese... I suppose that means Cattle dogs should help hunt Bison too.
Historically pitbulls were also used for bear baiting so maybe tame ones could scare bears back into their dens?
All dogs should be killable.
Dogs should eat something harder to get, like carnitas.
This doggy update has so much potential! I love it! ![]()
What's it like there? Anything special?

Hmmmmmmmmm.......
Snakes make Fruit Boots, next best thing to a backpack. Survival food!
https://onetech.info/844-Fruit-Boot
Would be nice if they protected you from snake bites too.
+1 for portable self-applicable anti-venom and bite wound cures.
Progress. I make roads to iron and water sources, because right now those things are finite but necessary for a town to survive.
The cursed must work off their status as an exiled Cain.
Seems fair. Especially since after they take out all the towns everyone has to start over as Eves.
Wolf-dogs are great, but I hope black lady & ginger man are coming out this week too!
