Will we ever see more advanced tech than Diesel wells before Jason stops the weekly updates? That has now been our absolute end game for over a year.
Edit: I don’t count radios as our absolute end game, since they are mostly fancy toys, without many practical uses. But technically the radio is more advanced than the Diesel well.

For the time being, I think we have enough content.

i don't see us progressing any further until he fixes the shitty implementation of specialization. :) once he does that, then he'll probably add another way for griefers (his favourite players) to enjoy the game.

I think he'll spend the next 3 months trying to make the family garbage work then get rid of it because it's very flawed. I think the system could be interesting if it was anything else. Like imagine black desert cities? That'd be so cool. Also imagine if this trash "dropsy" mechanic wasn't involved in an already very hard update. Just yuck. I hate it so much. I'll bet family specialization will be gone by may.
I think we will get some form of tech this year, but WAYYY later in the year after we've all given up. I really want some game changing tech. I'm bored.
I'm Slinky and I hate it here.
I also /blush.

I thought some morning about if all Eves spawned in like a 20k (maybe 30k) radius, and like 10k further out from that radius lay new biomes will all sorts resources for rockets, and maybe robots, also. Perhaps better, actual computer parts, so that maybe something like a supercomputer could get constructed. Maybe the computer would be necessary for calculations involving rockets and/or robots? The car and the plane could potentially get motivated that way also (but would there be enough oil?). Though also, it's rather silly having the crude car made from a box. That we don't have a metal car is something that Eve Death has validly complained about.
Anyways, with respect to the original question, who knows? We don't know how long Jason will keep doing updates after all.

Didn't you know that the advanced tech is already there?
You just have to stumble upon the undocumented recipes...
Find the ingredients in hidden biomes designated in colors not displayable by modern graphics cards...
That are locked away by non-playable races... (elves and fairies mostly) who refuse to speak your language...
And once you get everything you need, then you just have to wait multiple lifetimes for the crafting sequence to complete...

Dang ... now I want elves and fairies as playable races. And also dwarves. And orcs!

Been making the ultimate bet that Jason would kill his game with his updates ever since I stopped playing back in early May of 2019.
It was before the rift and even war swords I think so I came pretty close before the unexpected steam sale.
Still waiting on it.

Hey hey, everyone misses the mark here and there. I can't be thankful enough that this week has pretty much all been specifically requested things from players to be fixed. We can all be butthurt about you not fixing this or that but you absolutely deserve praise when a 100% good update is coming out.
First update of the year is going to be great and I hope we have even more good updates in the future.

Thanks for taking your time fixing the issue with the camera on the family tree browser I reported. Checked it myself and can confirm it’s working now.
Also the other fixes this week are looking great. Keep up the good work.
